Spas Florida

Going to Florida in April, staying in a villa in kissimmee how can we travel without a car?

We cannot hire a car as we are not yet 21 and it would cost alot of money!! I having been researching shuttle buses from kissimmee but cannot find any! Any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you

  1. I don't know but there are loads of naturist facilities there, get among them and you won't want to travel, lol.
  2. Taxi's are one alternative. Either that or upgrade to a hotel that offers free shuttle service to nearby establishments. I am sure you can find one. You are talking about a city that is built for out-of-towners and few would use public transportation there. If your hotel doesn't have a shuttle, you are going to be stuck with taxis.
  3. Could I either suggest changing your holiday destination. If you want to visit all the attractions available around kissimmiee you will need a car or it will turn out very expensive otherwise. Some hotels do organise trips to far away places such as Busch gardens.
  4. bus,taxi,rent a car,train,walk,bike,limo there r many ways 2 travel.
  5. There is not really a bus system around the Orlando area. Your left with either a taxi or town car both of which can add up to big bucks rather quickly. Biking or walking are not really an option as the attractions are miles apart. A villa is not really a good idea if you do not have a car. Your best bet is to stay somewhere that has free transportation to the parks. Some resorts have them, as do a lot of the motels. If you have already reserved and paid for the villa your best, and cheapest, bet is a taxi. Just make sure to get a reputable company. Yellow, Orlando, and Mears are three that come to mind.
  6. usually the resort villas have transportation to the parks. check with them and see what they offer. orlando/kissimmee does have a bus system so you could also look into that as well. there's always a taxi service but that could get pricey. you could always change your hotel to one that does have a shuttle service.
  7. just got back from florida and while Kissimmee isnt far from all the attractions, there isnt a bus service. hiring a car is the only simple way to get to disney, which is very easy to find. anyway how about taxis, as i can see that a car isnt a possibility. or how about changing your accomodation. a hotel in international drive or one of the disney resorts have the shuttle buses to anywhere you want to go have a great time. you will. we did and we are a right old mixed bunch of ages hahahaha disney is fantastic where in kissimmee you staying. who have you booked with. we stayed in the disney area villas, it was fab
  8. I am a lot older but did not want to hire a car in orlando so did lots of trips in buses and shuttles and on the I-Drive trolley and sometimes when I was rushed I even used a cab lol. My advice would be to see if any of the local hotels have a shuttle to the parks from near you. You are nearest to the disney parks and I found getting from kissimmee to universal by the lynxs buses a defiantely chore. So much so that I moved hotels from kissimmee to I-drive first time I went. Here is a link to the lynxs buses hope it helps http://www.indigoguide.com/orlando/transportation.htm and if you want more information feel free to email me. Have a nice holiday
  9. LYNX are the local buses in central florida www.golynx.com They run up and down highway 192 at kissimmee to Disney world etc but if you are staying in a rental house you will need to get yourselves to the 192 by taxi (and back) or find the nearest hotel with a shuttle service to Disney and hop on! Mears shuttles will bring you to and from the airport www.mearstransportation.com
