Villas in Orlando, Florida, help please?
Hoping to go to Orlando next year and staying in a villa. Don't want to book as a package as in the past we have found it cheaper to book everything separately. I've googled it and there are loads of sites offering villas but just wondering if anyone has a recommendations from experience of any particular sites that do them? Thanks in advance!

- I was in a villa in Florida last week. We was in the resort of Southern Dunes which was also partially residential. It was very nice but so are most of the villas along the highway 27. I would definately suggest any of the villas along highway 27 as they are very clean and nearly all have screened pools. We booked with Travel City Direct who were very efficient and gave good directions to the villa. I'm sure you can book seperately with them although we did book a package. Good Luck and have a good vacation when it comes! :)
- I have a pal who has a place he rents out... go to: Floridahamlets.com I have no idea what the rates are but check it and see...
- Try this site. There are some great vacation homes there. http://www.idealvacationrentals.com/orlando.htm Happy travels Jules
- i've had the following website recommended to me www.vrbo.com it's Vacation Rentals By Owners and there are loads of villas and apartments for rent. Have a great trip.
- go to 1stfororlando.com. these people are amazing the houses are great close to disney and have a pool. and the prices are better than anybody i have tried to rent with. i am going this year in november and rented a 4bd 3bath home for 7 days for a total of around $820 for the week which is amazing this is including taxes and the other stuff they put it. go to their website look at the house you want and then call them they are very nice and they answer all the questions you have. let me know if it worked for you
- I just got back from a house in Windsor Hills. It was 10 minutes to the furthest part of Disney. It was an awesome house 5br and 5 full baths. Huge pool! I stayed at the house for a week with the family and then moved to a Concierge level room at the Contemporary. Even with all the amenities that the Contemporary offered I wished I was back at the house. Take a look you won't be disappointed. www.Disneyvacationhome4rent.com
- have a look on ebay you will be very surprised how cheap people rent them out for

- Emerald Island is the nicest one by far. Formosa Gardens is also very nice. The ones off 192 are the closet to Disney US27 is much further away. Try www.vr360floridavillas.co.uk, they have hundreds of villas and u get to talk direct through the owners. Or www.holiday-rentals.co.uk. U are right, booking everything seperately does save u a lot of money.
- e-bay is ok for villas,we stay in a hotel each year on i-drive its easier but villas more private. there are good rates on there as the dollar is weak you can grab a bargain.we do everything seperatly its suprising how much you can save. if you need a hotel room try roomsnet.com they charge by the room not the people so no supplement. hope this helps
