Can i sell my Villa in florida in the uk and get the money for it in GBP?

I own a 4 bed Villa in Orlando Florida and i am thinking of selling it, can i arrange to sell it to someone in the UK get the money from then paid straight into my bank account in the UK in GBP or do i have to get the money for it paid into a bank account in the USA first??? .

1. I think you probably could, but the USA taxman is still going to need to be notified. He will want his share.
