Where can I take my mom and her dog on a weekend vacation in Florida?
My mom has an 80lbs American Bull Dog he's about 9mths old and is house trained. I would like to take her on a mini-vacation within the state of Florida. Maybe a beach villa for a couple of days on the west coast, Naples, or Fort Myers. Does anyone know any places that allow dogs?

- any beach would be fine
- beach, water park, sea world, disney world
- Try this web site: www.petswelcome.com I use it all the time when I travel with my pets. Remember it is getting to be summer time, so be careful when travelling with your dog that you don't leave him in a hot car -- ESPECIALLY an American Bulldog, which can overheat very quickly because of their breathing issues.
- Ft. Walton Beach
- well, i live in florida, so let me tell you miami, NOT a good idea its a bad area with lots of gangs and crap. visit wellington, loxahachee or orlando. they all allow dogs.
- You can find that out on the internet. Just stay out of Dade County: Miami Beach.
- Take them to the beach. Dogs luv beahces! they like the wind the cool water and warm sand under there paws. Y do u think we, humans, like the beach so much?
- HoneyMoon Island has a dog beach. this way you can bring your dog to the beach! just make sure you go durning the cool morning or later in the day when it's not so hot out for the dog. there are also tons of parks that you can take your dog to that are very close around maybe search for a rental home that will allow the dog to stay. most people who rent out their houses will allow dogs if you pay a little extra maybe for one day you could drop the dog off at a doggy day care for around $15 or so that way you and your mom can take the ferry from honeymoon island to caladesi island and it's one of america's Best beaches and was voted #1 many times throughout the years!!!
- St George Island Florida is a great place for pet vacations. Many of the vacation rental companies have beach homes that allow pets. One in particular is St George Island Vacation Properties. Pets are generally allowed on the beach and have a great time! Don't miss the Apalachicola Oysters either!
