In Osceola county Florida is it possible to have a restaurant deliver beer? We are considering opening a pizzeria and we are considering having the option to have beer delivered. It's planned location will be Osceola county, so the simple question is, is there any laws that will prohibit this? It will be a small family owned restaurant so all delivering parties would be over 18. If it is in fact legal would it require any special licensing other then a basic liquor license? Please be as detailed as possible and include sources. Thanks in advance!

How do I apply for sole legal and physical custody of my child in Osceola County, Florida? Please read details? My ex-husband and I were divorced in California and were granted 50/50 custody by the court in 2007. Our divorce was official in 2008. I have since gained permission to move to Florida (April 2008). I have now been living in Florida for over a year and have been the sole sole provider and decision-maker for my 5 year old. My ex was never given an order to pay child support, but has been sending me 1/2 of my child's monthly tuition every month for her private school. He has not paid for the last 3 months and hardly ever sees my child. How do I go about going to court now that I am a Florida resident? I already do everything that the sole parent does, legally and physically. How do I make it official? Also, our custody deal was kind of shady because of our "mediator" in California. There, they believe that unless the other parent is a complete crackhead then you should have 50/50 custody. I have been the sole caretaker of my child since birth. I kept track on a calendar of all the days I had my child for the mediator and my lawyer ( which was equal to more than 75%) and the mediator said, "It's great that he allows you extra parenting time on his days." What a fricken load of BS! How about, "Wow, you really don't take care of your child, so she should just live with her mother." Even when my ex and I separated in 2006, I took full responsibility for my child and kept my child with me (with no support from my ex). He has always been pretty much a deadbeat when it comes to parenting. He has not done anything illegal, but does not give my child the support needed...even though he has a decent guaranteed paycheck in the military. He does not agree, so I know I will have to go to court. I am pretty proficient with paperwork after spending a lot of time in the military doing legal work, so I would like to get a jump start on the actual paperwork myself. I found with my divorce that when I filled out all the paperwork by myself and then took it to a lawyer for review, I saved a ton of money. All right, enough bashing. I got married in Aviano, Italy while I was in the military. Got pregnant, and we got stationed in California. After going to war for my country in Iraq and Afghanistan while my husband stayed home behind his cushy military office chair, I came home to someone who said things to me like, "Don't try to hold the baby, she doesn't love y ou anyways because you left her." Now, the whole 9 months I was away my mother had my child in another state for 4 months, his mother had her in a different state for 4 months, and my ex actually had her for the month just before I came home. All this because he couldn't take care of her between all of his partying and compulsive gambling. I was making extra money while I was away for combat pay and payed ALL the bills, not to mention ordering baby formula, toys, bath soap, and clothes online for my child while I was away because he couldn't bring his lazy butt to do it himself. Then I got out of the military to take care of our child better because my deployments were too much for HIM to handle. So I became a full-time student, held a full-time job, and was a full-time mom. During this time, my ex would leave from work on a Friday afternoon, head to the casino, and we wouldn't see him come home until 8 or 9 am Saturday morning. When I finally confronted him, I got pushed down the stairs in front our then 2 year old. The time after that, I ended up with a black eye from him head-butting me while I was holding our child. So I tried to call the cops and he grabs the phone from me and tells the cops I'm crazy and that I HIT HIM! The cops got there just as I was packing up all of mine and my child's things and told him he was full of crap. They stayed there until I packed everything, and I got my own apartment that day. He agreed to let me come to Florida when I had a huge job opportunity here. I have since been laid off. Javier, that's great that things worked out for you...and if my ex was involved in my daughter's life I would be more than happy to let him be a part of it. However, I had a father just like him who beat the crap out of my mom, but never so much as spanked me. It's still not healthy. I have done everything to accomodate him since I moved. I have allowed my child to go back to California on MY DIME to see him when she didn't have school. I video tape her and take pictures and she talks to him more than 3 times a week. I have made sure she would be available to him whenever she is not in school, but he does not always take the opportunity. The only time he comes to see her is when the military puts him in a class in Orlando so he doesn't have to pay for it. Longbrownhair, I'm not asking for tuition payments. HE insisted that she goes to private school because he doesn't trust public schools. And the 1/2 tuition payment he makes monthly is about $300 LESS than what he would pay monthly in child support! If you would have read the rest of the details, you would see that I have made her as available as possible to him and that HE WILLINGLY let her move. You would have also read that he is abusive and a compulsive gambler. That is a great life for a kid, isn't it? She also has a father-figure in her life which my ex is fine with...he has been with me and around my daughter since she was 2 1/2. I grew up in the same situation that my daughter is going through now. I know what it's like without hearing about what some left-wing liberal psychologist has to say. I went through the experience at the same age as her, and I was not damaged by it. Once I was a teen and tried to hang out with my dad, I realized that he really was a deadbeat.

How much will a tattoo in Palm Beach County, Florida cost? My husband is getting me a tattoo for Christmas. I'm hoping to get it on the line of my breast, (you know, like if I wear a shirt that shows a little cleavage, you should be able to see at least a part of the tattoo.) Okay so, the tattoo is going to be my husband and my son's names, (Jhon and Phoenix) Just like that same spelling and everything, I was wondering if anyone out there around the palm beach county area in florida has ever gotten a tattoo some what like this and how much you think it may cost. Also the font I'd like, nothing fancy just a thin line of black cursive writing, and not too big, just large enough to be visible from a few feet. Hope I gave enough detail, I appreciate any advice.. "Truth" is this what you spend your day doing? I've seen you post that same type message on all questions about tattoos. Now I get what your saying, A good 95% of people who get tattoos get them for all the wrong reasons, such as they think it's cool, or want to impress someone. But just for your information, I'm getting this tattoo because I love my husband and my son, and my son will ALWAYS be in my life, and as for my husband, even IF we break up one day down the road, he's the father of my son, and I wouldn't mind having his name on my body for the rest of my life. Your talking to me like i'm getting some stupid, pointless cartoon or number on my body, when you can clearly see that my tattoo is just two names of two people I will love for the rest of my life, regardless if we are together for the rest of our lives or not! Maybe the reason your so against tattoos is because you have no life, but sitting on the computer all day harassing people for wanting a forever lasting memory o

In Florida what is the name of the law that says inmates have to expedited within 72 hours? My husband is in jail for violation of probation but the warrant was issued from another county. (The county where the charges were originally from) Even though he transferred his probation to our current county, he is waiting to be sent to the other county for processing but if they dont pick him up in 72 hours the judge said he could go on his own. What is this law called and are there any additional details I need to know?
What is the BEST way to track a dead beat dad when you've already gone to the county child support services? My child resides in California and the so called dad AKA sperm donor now lives in Florida which I had to find out through the medical insurance company - info was given to me by mistake. Not completely but enough for me to know he's moved out of the state he originally lived. The child support services doesn't even know where he's currently living or working at so their a dead end to me. I'm not sure who to contact in Floria to get me help or where to start looking. Any suggestions anyone or suggest a website that allows you to look at other details at NO CHARGE to us? Thank you.

Cost of Living in Florida, USA Vs Cornwall, UK? I would like to know the cost of living for a family of 3 in a 3/4 bedroom property in Florida (namely Polk county). I have browsed a few old answers on here but they seem a little dated. I basically want to compare what I am paying monthly in the UK now to what it would be in Florida. Below are details of what I am paying each month for a 3 bedroom house in Cornwall. Council Tax - £143 Building/Contents Insurance - £55 Water - £45 Electricity - £80 Telephone + Broadband - £40 Mobile - £50 Fuel - £70 (2.0 litre people carrier) Groceries - £200 (2 adults, 1 child) I would also like to know rough medical insurance fees, pool/garden maintenance fees and anything else essential that I may have overlooked. Many thanks in advance...
Any shooting range owners from Florida? In the part of Florida that I live, there is only one range with four stalls. It is expensive as well as run down. People go there only because they have no other place to go within a 50 mile radius. I decided I want to open a range myself and have already obtained so much data that my head is spinning, yet I still have some questions I am having trouble getting answered. I have the Florida State Statutes, County Codes and Zoning, The NRA Range Sourcebook (in the mail), USAF ETL 08-11: Small Arms Range Design and Construction, the EPA CFRs for lead, and have a couple of properties I am looking at in my area that meet code and would be large enough to suffice the range. The range will be an outdoor range that has 50m (X5), 100 m (X5), 300 m(X3), and 1000 m (X2) lanes that will have use a dirt backstop accompanied by a cement block wall. The range will allow for ammunition from .22 cal to .50 cal. Other than delivery of dirt my brother, cousin, dad, and friend will assist me in the construction of the stalls, measuring the Surface Danger Zone/Vertical Danger Zone, backstops, and targets. My cousin and myself are going to Orlando to become Range Safety Officers for insurance purposes. As business takes off I will be adding a skeet shoot and a tactical/obstacle course with pop-up targets and CQB scenarios, but those are not in the making yet (not until I have an established business). The building where business will be conducted will need to have retail space for accessories, gear, ammo, and guns for sale/rent (I have an application for an FFL but until I have a location of business I cannot send it in). I will also need a 125ft X 125ft room for conducting NRA, CCW, and security courses as well as offer free hunting courses (All but the hunting courses will be taught by either myself or my cousin). A bathroom and breakroom are requirements for a security training facility in my state. I know what is needed by the county, state, EPA, and BATFE in regards to licensing and regulations for the range and firearms, what I am not sure of is the business aspect. I was hoping someone who owns a range in Florida could help answer the few questions that I have left. Q1: I know the average mark-up for firearms and accessories in the area, but how can I find the cost of the firearms and accessories (wholesale/dealers price) or of any price breaks for bulk orders? The distributors will not talk to me until I have my FFL and I cannot get my FFL without a place for business and I cannot get a place of business without a business loan from a bank. Due to the economy and my age, 24, I am going to have to go to the bank with a DETAILED business plan and explain how they will get there money back. Q2: How do you pay a business loan back? Do you pay monthly payments (i.e. mortgage/car payment) or do you pay in back in a lump some with in so many years? If so what is the time frame it is to be paid back in? Q3: Do you know of any good insurance companies to cover my business (in Florida) and if so how much does it cost? Again they will not talk to me until I have a business. Q4: How much do lead removal services cost? The EPA mandates that a company has to come and remove lead from my dirt back stops and I'm sure it is not free. If I have the equipment am I allowed to do it myself? Q5: If you own an outdoor range in Fl, do you mind telling me an estimated cost of construction supplies for your outdoor range? Q6: I am looking a buying a large piece of land and I'm probably not going to find one with a building on it that suits my needs. Any ideas/suggestions on new construction vs. other options I am unaware of such as portable buildings (if they have them) Q7: What are the state and federal taxes (estimate of course) for running such a business in FL? Please, refrain from JUST telling me that this is an expensive business and that it will fail. I now that it will be expensive and that is why I need a DETAILED business plan for the bank. I am hoping for help with the few financial questions left to determine the over all cost and revenue I will need to acquire. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate and look forward to any responses.

Beer and Wine Liscense and Starting a Pub? I live in Florida and I am looking to start a Pub. I only want to get a beer and wine liscense considering a full liquer is like 200k and the insurance to boot. I was also considering doing it in North Carlina but have no idea on their laws regarding the sale of alcohol or wether their is a difference between a liquer liscense and a beer/wine.The county in North Carolina is Watauga btw. Would it be a good idea to start in a medium sized town apposed to a large city? Or does the larger city mean more buisness? Ive got my idea and I know what I want to do but im really having a hard time getting things rolling because im only 22 and people think im not serious. Any detailed advice would be much appriciated.
Is property tax based off of the market value or the purchase price of the house? I live in Florida and my boyfriend and I want to buy a house in Lee county but we are confused about the property taxes. We know that it can only go up no more than 3% from the previous year but my question is; 3% of what? Is it 3% of the amount that we purchased the home for or is it 3% of the value based on what the property appraiser declares the home is worth? Please help us to understand the details of this situation. Thank you!
For those who have been following the Haleigh Cummings case? What do you think of this ? I always wondered about this family and what really happened to this little girl. He should have been out looking for her and asking for more media coverage, instead he gets himself arrested? The father of a Florida girl who has been missing for nearly six months was charged Thursday with burglary with assault, police told CNN. Ronald Cummings was arrested on felony charges of burglary with assault, officials said. Ronald Cummings was arrested on felony charges of burglary with assault, officials said. Ronald Cummings is being held on $12,500 bond for the felony charges, the Florida Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. There were no other details on his arrest available. Cummings' daughter, Haleigh Cummings, went missing from his home in Satsuma, Florida, on February 9. Cummings has made several public pleas for information about his daughter's disappearance, even begging whoever might be holding her to just return her home. Police have said they think Haleigh was abducted but have provided few details. In March, Cummings married his then-girlfriend Misty Croslin, who was the last person known to have seen the 5-year-old child alive, saying it was what Haleigh would have wanted. Croslin, 17, said she tucked Haleigh and her 4-year-old brother into bed about 8 p.m. the night Haleigh disappeared. Croslin said she went to sleep herself at about 10 p.m. but awoke at 3 a.m. to find Haleigh missing and a back door propped open by bricks. Getting married in Florida.? Hello, guys. The Florida website doesn't give many details on the process of getting married in Florida. Could someone elaborate? How long will it take? Do you support Florida , Arizona-Style Immigration Laws ? PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Some leaders said they want Florida's laws to be as tough as Arizona's when it comes to immigration. The issue came to light especially after the incident off the Florida coast this week. On Thursday, the Coast Guard responded in Port Canaveral as a boatload of 17 Haitian Creole speakers 15 miles offshore tried to come to Florida, before running out of fuel and calling for help. Despite their dire condition, the Coast Guard did not allow them to come ashore, which is the procedure for illegal immigrants, although the Coast Guard has not identified the group as such. "We're under attack here on the beaches, where, under the cover of darkness, thousands of foreigners come ashore illegally," said Rep. Ritch Workman, of Brevard County. Other lawmakers feel similarly, which is why an Arizona-style immigration bill could be in place in Florida before the end of the year. The Coast Guard constantly patrols for illegal immigrants, but thousands get through, and an estimated 800,000 are living in Florida. Workman said it's time for Florida to crack down the way Arizona has. "We shouldn't have to pay $3 billion for illegal immigrants," he said. Police would have the right to check anyone they stop for their immigration status. "If you can't prove who you are, you'll have to sort it out in jail," Workman said. Voter Robert DuPree said the measure sounds un-American. "We should encourage immigration; it's good for America," he said. Workman's proposal has strong support, as well as strong opposition. He said if a special session is called this year, he believes the Legislature will pass it. http://www.wpbf.com/news/24050205/detail.html

Which town would you choose to live in Florida's West Coast? I want to live on one of these towns/islands in the near future. I know they're pretty pricey to live on but that doesn't matter right now I will figure that out when the time comes. Captiva, Sanibel, Naples, Siesta Key, Osprey, and Tierra Verde in Pinellas County. Which one has the nicest clean and closest to BLUE water beach, best nightlife, safe neighborhood good schools etc.? Please be detailed with every answer you give thanks a bunch!! I already looked into Fort Myers and it's not the type of place that I would like to live in. I am looking for something around those towns that I mentioned in my question thanks though
How do I vacate a judgement that was filed against my corporation last week? I am located in Chicago, IL.? A company in Florida filed a judgement against my company in Chicago last week and I need to get it vacated. How do I do this in Chicago, cook county. Can anyone help me in detail? Worth noting, we do not have a contract with this company, we did business with them and they cheated us. Since they are bigger they are trying to bully us. I think they wont take it to court, they are trying to scare us into paying anything since the lawyer asked to settle when I called him. The law firm that took the case is Teller, Levit & Silvertrust P.C Any lawyers here that have some real insight? Thanks in Advance.... Sincerely, Jennifer S.
I am a renter who received foreclosure papers. What should I do? I received a notice of Les Pendens last night, and am not sure what to do. I contacted my landlord, and he said that he is in bankruptcy, and that after the bankruptcy is completed, he plans to pay his late payments to bring the mortgage current, so I should disregard the notice. I am afraid that he is just trying to get me to stay in the house so he can collect rent and keep my last month/security. I am afraid that my next notice will tell me to be out within 24 hours. What can I do that's legal? How can I protect myself? I've called a couple of lawyers, but honestly, if I'm going to lose my last month and security deposit, I won't be able to afford to pay the lawyer and come up with money to move, so I would rather seek advice from others who have been in this situation. Thank you! Details - I live in Palm Beach County, Florida.
I was arrested for not having a drivers license in another state, what can i do? I am from Dallas, TX and I went on a trip to Florida for a concert. On the way back I was stopped by a trooper for speeding (i know its my fault i had very little sleep...24hr drive!). The officer asked me for my license, registration and insurance. I had everything except for my license so he arrested me and took me to jail. I got a ticket for speeding, which I paid as soon as I got home. But my other ticket says I have to go to court for not having a license. What are my options? Details. I was driving my friends car while he rested in the passenger seat. (he had the insurance and registration) It was in Florida county Osceola. My bond was 1000 for being out of state. I chose for a state attorney to be assigned. My court date hasn't been set yet. Oh and how can I get my bond money back? Oh my status in this country does not allow me to have drivers license.
Should a Florida teacher have been fired for wizardry? LAND 'O LAKES, Fla. -- A substitute teacher in Pasco County has lost his job after being accused of wizardry. Teacher Jim Piculas does a magic trick where a toothpick disappears and then reappears. Piculas recently did the 30-second trick in front of a classroom at Rushe Middle School in Land 'O Lakes. Piculas said he then got a call from the supervisor of teachers, saying he'd been accused of wizardry. "I get a call the middle of the day from head of supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue, you can't take any more assignments you need to come in right away,'" he said. Piculas said he did not know f any other accusations that would have led to the action. The teacher said he is concerned that the incident may prevent him from getting future jobs. http://www.local6.com/news/16169506/detail.html
Can you sue the police/county/state for arresting you due to mistaken identity? I'm in Florida, and I was arrested and told that I did something I didn't do. They say I'm on camera. I asked the arresting officer if he could give me a polygraph test and he said they don't have the facilities for that. I asked the cop for details of what I did and if we could talk about it, maybe he and his captain could interrogate me, and he said "I haven't read you your rights yet". Then I asked him to read me my rights, then he said, "I can't discuss the case against you, regardless". I know it's not me, especially because the store in which I allegedly committed the crime, I have never gone into. I spent 4 and a half days in jail and am out on a $5000 bond. Yes, I was arrested, booked, etc. My fingerprints aren't there, and I've asked for a polygraph.
Out-of-state wedding ceremony trouble? I'll try to provide as many details as possible to help get my question resolved. My fiance and I both live in Seminole County, Florida. Neither one of us want a big wedding and have decided to travel to New Hampshire (a favorite of ours) to have a quiet ceremony with our immediate family only. We were hoping to have it in a Catholic church. Here are my questions: 1) Do I have to get a marriage licence in New Hampshire or can I get one here in Florida? We were planning on going down to the courthouse this weekend and then just having our small ceremony to celebrate next month. 2) What could complicate our plan? I have no idea where to start. /sigh. We're planning a small wedding to avoid complications and it doesn't seem to be working!
Should the suspects responsible for the deaths of Byrd and Melanie Billings receive the electric chair/needle? Seven people are in custody in connection with the shooting deaths of a Gulf Coast couple known for adopting special-needs children, and one more person is sought, the sheriff of Escambia County, Florida, said Tuesday. All seven people will face murder charges in last week's deaths of Byrd and Melanie Billings, authorities said. The suspects include a 16-year-old. "We've got the primary individuals and suspects in custody today," said Sheriff David Morgan. The eighth person is believed to have aided and abetted the crime, he said, and authorities know that person's name and location. But police would not divulge many details regarding the investigation into the deaths, saying only that the couple was killed during a home invasion robbery. He identified the seven suspects as: • Leonard Patrick Gonzalez Jr., 35 • Leonard Patrick Gonzalez Sr., 56 • Wayne Thomas Coldiron, 41 • Gary Lamont Sumner, 30 • Fredrick Lee Thornton, 19 • Donald Ray Stallworth, 28 • An unidentified juvenile, 16

First speeding ticket!?!? Okay, so I'm 19 and got my first ticket in the four years that I've been driving. I was late for a doctor's appointment and was going 36mph in a 20mph downhill. Officer pulled me over and I told him I knew I was speeding. Instead of a $400 fine he marked it down on the citation as a Traffic Control Device doing 36 in a 20 school zone and it says the fine is $161.00. He was telling me I also have 3points of my license now and the limit is 12 for a year. Since It's almost october and I don't speed a lot(I usually leave 20min. early for appointments) I shouldn't worry to much about racking up more points. So I since it's my first time I checked up online about tickets and most people say plead not guilty and go to court especially if it's your first ticket. But I really don't have the time or patience to go to court to plead my case. Should I just plead guilty pay the fine and pay for the traffic school course to get the points of my license.(this is what I rather do) Anything to help decrease any amount insurance might go up, since I don't want insurance(geicko) to go up for my parents. Details extra: I'm 19, a college student, and I live in florida-orange county. insurance is geico and I get GOOD STUDENT(what is says on insurance paper) discount for having a 3.6 gpa
Do you think i have the swine flu? Ok so i have been having a fever for about 3 days (98.6F) and i have a sore throat. I do not cough though. I live in Florida. Today (may 1) in the morning i went to the bathroom and i was fine but when i went again later (about 3 pm) it looked more water-like O.O(sorry for the details, lol) but i also didnt eat a real lot before going again... so what do you guys think?
Suppose I punch out my soon to be ex-boss (You MUST see additional details to understand situation)? Here's my story, sorry if it's a bit lengthy. At the tragic expense of my grandfather's sudden and early death, I've recived my multi-million dollar inheritence earlier than anticipated. He was an executive for Warren Buffets Berkshire Hathaway and bought up several hundred shares of stock while they were dirt cheap. My current financial situation is this: A 41 year annuity of $207'000.00 a year (Actually direct deposits monthly.) Also a secluded cabin in the Hawaiian islands as my permanent residence, and 1.5 Million remaining in uncommited dollars spread out in three bank accounts, that will be my retirement when my annuity runs out at the age of 61. As you can see, I'm a 20 years man and set for life. Further more, and you can correct me if I'm wrong about this, that's why I'm here asking, but it would seem that I have nothing to lose when I go in for my final check. You see, a week from this friday, I go in for my final check. I am assistant manager at a golf course and absolutly despise the boss. She has made the last year of my life miserable, and instead of going out with a handshake, I'm thinking of going out with a literal bang. Because, I live in Pensacola county Florida, and my flight to my new life in Hawaii is 11am a week from friday in Tampa. So, two hours before the flight, I get there at opening at 9am, noone else is there, I get my check, rough her up a bit then high tail it out of there. This is my opinion: Even though Tampa, the location of an airport is a neighboring county, the process of extradition remains nonetheless. So, even if she can tell the police I'm there (Which I do not believe she would know), there would be way too much legistical stuff to be able to get me before the flight takes off. (Even if they did, i could pay my bail, then leave, and consider it worth it.) And, although a state wide warrant for my arrest would be issued (And as a person who interned for the DA in high school I know it would be only statewide) it would not affect me anywhere else. I can guarantee that the DA's office will not pay precious money out of their budget to extradite me all the way back from Hawaii over a simple assault charge. Also, she's in no position to sue: My annuity and my bank accounts except for one small one is all Swiss based. Will SOME Swiss banks disclose the accounts existance? Yes, but I'm not concealing them anyway, and they still will NOT aid any US court or IRS in freezing, garnishing the funds in any way. Plus nonpayment is judgement is not a criminal offense, it's civil. But even before that, she knows who can afford the much better attorney, and suing across state lines, plus the travel expenses of coming to the islands, simply costly to the extent that it wouldn't be in her udget. I hate her, but stupidity is not the reason. She's smart enough to realize what I just said. Without lectures, without telling me to get over it and enjoy my new freedom (Believe me I will afterwards) am I foolproof? A week from today I should say

Email Address Include other special offers from Examiner.com Terms of Use Carlos Urbano Teran-Ponce Osceola County Sheriff's OfficeEarly Christmas morning, deputies in Osceola County arrested Mexican national Carlos Urbano Teran-Ponce, 34, outside the home of his alleged teenaged victim. About 4:00 a.m., the girl’s mother walked into the 13-year-old’s bedroom and caught Teran-Ponce, who tried to leave. However, the woman blocked his pickup truck with her vehicle and called 911. The arrest report states: "Once inside, they [the deputies] found the victim … curled on the living room floor crying.” The victim told detectives that Teran-Ponce, a friend of the girl’s mother, gave her a mixed drink with tequila before she went to bed. She also said that he had molested her at least 20 times before the Christmas Day attack. Teran-Ponce was charged with nine counts of sexual battery on a child and 21 counts of lewd and lascivious molestation. The police report stated that Teran-Ponce who works as a window tinter "provided a full detailed confession on each count." He faces possible life in prison. *Reporter’s note: It should be noted that in Mexico, the crime of child molestation is almost never prosecuted, in fact if a rapist (even a child rapist) proposes marriage to his victim before a judge, all charges are usually dropped. The reason so many Mexican nationals are committing horrendous crimes against children in this country is due in large measure to the vast cultural differences between the two countries. The fact is that the lives of little girls, and women in general are simply not valued in Mexico. The most glaring example of the sad aforementioned fact is the age of sexual consent throughout most of Mexico is only 12 years of age! If this nation does not soon begin to defend our border with Mexico, as well as begin mass deportations of illegal aliens, the United States will become just as inhospitable to children as is Mexico.
What do you think of a US poll where Republicans call Obama a devil, the anti-christ, a Muslin, and Nazi? A reporter in the TBT (Tampa Bay Times) http://www.tampabay.com wrote an article about this in today's issue, March 24, 2010. The picture on the cover of the TBT shows President Obama with the horns of a devil, and the headline reads "BEDEVILED". As a retort to this yellow journalism and mudraking, I would like to quote Proverbs 10:32: "The upright speak what is helpful; the wicked speak rebellion." Proverbs 10:11-12 "The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs." Proverbs 11:9 "Evil words destroy. Godly skills rebuild". I just saw on the news where Sarah Palin has put a cross hair target on many Democrats on her website and is telling people to "RELOAD". This kind of rhetoric that implies hatred and violence is just plain wrong. What does Sarah Palin think about all of the death threats President Obama has received since he was elected President? The article in the Tampa Bay Times is responsible. Please read the following about health care for members of Congress. SOCIAL SECURITY: (This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.) Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.. Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it. You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan. For all practical purposes their plan works like this: When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die. Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. ..... For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7, 800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000..00 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries. Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives. Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. ZIP!! NADA!!! ZILCH!!! This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; "OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"! From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer ), We can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after 0retirement. Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits! Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made. That change would be to Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. . Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us Then sit back..... And see how fast they would fix it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve. P.S. The same goes for their healthplan * 3 months ago Additional Details Someone from the White House or Yahoo should do some research about this. The local (county) government where I live in Florida pays for my medical care which adds up to thousands of dollars. I am not the only one who depends on public assistance to survive. I am sure the total bill for medical care for uninsured individuals and children in Florida adds up to millions (maybe billions) of dollars. Florida needs another "Claude Pepper" as an advocate for health care reform in Washington, DC. 3 months ago Correction to all reporters reading this. The article published by The Tampa Bay Times is IRRESPONSIBLE. Look up the article in The Tampa Bay Times if you are interested. I cannot give the source of the Social Security information but it is a very reliable government source. Ignorance is not bliss.

How to request a refund from my lawyer? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida I sought legal representation in Broward County and hired a lawyer who was initially hired to defend me on an early termination of probation case of mine. Since the initial hire date of Oct. 2009 I never once received any documentation regarding any motions filed or status regarding my case. I did not even so much as get a welcome letter in the mail from his law office. As time progressed and never heard a single word from my lawyer I started to worry. So I attempted to call his office to try and get status on my case only to leave a message with his secretary in which she would state "I'll leave the message and he'll call you back". Never once did he call me back; which started to aggravate me. Finally, with a month & a half left of my probation and still no one word from my lawyer. I was a bit confused and wasn't sure how to approach the issue. Then just recently a situation arose where my probation officer placed a violation for me due to restitution fees and all of the sudden I had to appear in court for it. I contacted my lawyer and left a message with his secretary explaining in detail what had happened. Thinking he would show up in court to defend me I waited and waited the day of hearing for him to show up to avail. HE NEVER SHOWED UP, and I had to represent myself. Fortunately, things turned out well and my case has ended. Now, feeling as though my lawyer did absolutely nothing to lift a finger to help me my only thought was to file some kind of complaint against him to possibly receive my money back. Any advice or opinions on this would be greatly appreciated:

This is not a movie about Bush vs. Kerry or Republicans vs. Democrats. Its about our current voting system and exposing a multitude of problems with that system as demonstrated in the 2004 election. We are told "EVERY VOTE COUNTS" and this documentary exposes the corruption, mistruths, and shameful negligence and mishandling of these "VOTES" in a way that cannot be denied nor ignored - unless you don't watch it for yourself. 73 out of 78 people found this review helpful. The answer is yes, yes, yes!!! Kudos to Bev Harris who has dedicated years to exposing the corruption surrounding electronic voting. Get this. After Hacking Democracy's premiere on HBO, Harris received death threats. That's how risky and powerful her work is. 67 out of 77 people found this review helpful. This wonderful documentary proves my point that we have the best democracy that money can buy, along with our judicial system. This film is more frightening than any horror film I've seen, because THIS IS REAL! And this is movie biased? Not at all. It's an absolute eye opener that shows that your vote really doesn't count; and make sure you watch the deleted scenes(another 33 minutes of fantastic footage). 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Member Reviews hawk5391 58% Similar To You hawk5391's other reviews > 5.0 Stars Even though I also watched the original slasher classic Black Christmas, this was the scariest movie I saw over the Christmas break. Although the filmmakers obviously have every reason to sensationalize potential problems with electronic voting systems ("good news is no news," right?), the implications here are frightening. Not only did Bev Harris (founder of a non-partisan watchdog group) find voting machine code unprotected on the internet, she was able to successfully hack it and prove that results could be manipulated (you can watch this being done in a matter of seconds in this film). The lack of oversight of the companies who control the majority of electronic voting is astounding, almost as bad as the sloppy manner in which our government oversees the elections themselves. 10 out of 10 people found this review helpful. I found this review Click to rate this review as helpful LR 572736 43% Similar To You LR 572736's other reviews > 5.0 Stars Politics in America is scarey enough, but when you see what is going on with our elections system, you will just go through the roof. We have hoped through the last few centuries that a government of the people, by the people and for the people would not parish from the face of the earth, and that America would be its shining example. After viewing this flick, you will realize just how tarnished our example has become. We have realized in the past decades, that money rules, and it just feels like our votes don't count, only the money that backs our politicians. Only the corporations and special interests have access to the politicians these days, not the people that vote. This picture goes a long way to explaining how that happens. After realizing the truths in this documentary, I feel even more helpless and useless to change a corrupt government by my vote. Did my vote get counted? How would I even know? The facts put forth in this program are just about incredible, but you come away realizing their powerful credibility. I wondered why their hasn't been criminal prosecution of the election fraud that is running rampant in our country today? Where are prosecuters? Why aren't elections officials who ignore our right to have our votes counted, recounter and certified being placed on trial for crimes against the electorate? You owe it to yourself and your country to see this documentary long before the next election. Don't miss this one! 8 out of 9 people found this review helpful. This is the story of the creation of the group and webpage BlackBoxVoting.com Having found the Diebold's source code, a code that not even the President of the United States can see, Bev Harris takes the code to an expert. What is revealed causes Harris to criss cross America, to prove the fact that Diebold had literally hijacked democracy. Although it's possible, it's difficult to believe that anyone can think that the 2004 Presidential Election wasn't rigged after viewing this film. I found this review Click to rate this review as helpful Ben5765 35% Similar To You Ben5765's other reviews > 4.0 Stars This film is all about voting machines and how votes are tabulated. It makes mincemeat of the Diebold Corporation, manufacturer of a large percentage of the electronic voting machines used in the United States. It reveals Diebold officials making lie after lie about the security of their machines. The makers of the film meticulously document how, using Diebold's machines and data cards, someone with just a basic understanding of the technology involved (including, certainly, any Diebold employee) could rig the vote count, on one machine or on thousands of them, with absolutely no record that the rigging was ever done. The film also reveals how Diebold's chief executive officer was (and maybe still is) a large contributor to the Republican Party. He once wrote a letter stating that he would "deliver" Ohio's electoral votes in the 2004 presidential election for George W. Bush. The film later shows how his company managed to persuade Cuyahoga County, Ohio (where Cleveland is) to buy its machines. Maybe there is nothing fishy going on there, but appearances matter! Lest the film be seen as partisan, it features, among others, a Republican office-seeker from Louisiana who, after losing her race, went to view a demonstration of the machines that the voters used. As part of the demonstration she pressed the button next to her name, and the machine registered a vote for her opponent. Hmmm. She was understandably troubled. Moreover, the film points out that in many parts of the country it is in fact the local Republican Party that is wary of electronic voting machines, not the Democrats. Hacking Democracy also reveals problems with punch card voting systems--problems that dwarf the famous "hanging chad" problem of the 2000 presidential vote count in Florida. The film's message is distressing, but it is one all American citizens should hear and see. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful. It is because their kind of ignorance that this movie is a 5 star and a must for every single human being to watch and learn. There is no excuse for any voting system to be too technical, too complex, too secret that we cannot prove what the votes were years from when the votes were taken. Not even 50 years, not even 100 years, not even 1000 years, not ever. For anyone to suggest that the electronic voting system is not possible to understand and to do a documentary for by a handful of heroic citizens, it is an insult to this country and democracy. Let these be the commandments of election: 1) No voting methods should be more complicated than what pen/pencil can do on a ballot. 2) Vote handling in any election process should be transparent to the public no matter when, why, how, what, who. 3) Only 100% accuracy should be accepted. Anything less then 100% should be recounted no matter how many times, how long it takes, and how much it cost to be 100% accurate. 4) Without 100% accuracy, election cannot be concluded. Another election should be conducted immediately without further delay. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. I simply cannot believe the voting process is so secretive! I am still in High School and I could probably devise a system more secure than what every American trusts to count their votes! Every American owes it to themselves to watch this incredible docudrama of corporate greed, secrecy, corruption, and lies. Every American. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Dumb Criminals. Star If You Like? DUMB CRIMINALS Real Crimes Committed By Dumb Criminals Chicago: A man was wanted for throwing bricks through jewelry store windows and making off with the loot. He was arrested last night after throwing a brick into a Plexiglas window...the brick bounced back, hit him in the head and knocked him cold until the police got there. Portsmouth, RI: Police charged Gregory Rosa, 25, with a string of vending machine robberies in January when he: 1. fled from police inexplicably when they spotted him loitering around a vending machine and 2. later tried to post his $400 bail in coins. When Stan Caddell wanted to wash his Chevrolet, he backed the car into a foot of water in the Mississippi River at Hannibal, Missouri. When he got out to clean the car, it floated away. Police were able to retrieve the vehicle some distance downstream. According to an officer on the scene, no action would be taken against the driver because "you can't ticket a guy for being stupid..." Kentucky: Two men tried to pull the front off a cash machine by running a chain from the machine to the bumper of their pickup truck. Instead of pulling the front panel off the machine, though, they pulled the bumper off their truck. Scared, they left the scene and drove home. With the chain still attached to the machine. With their bumper still attached to the chain. With their vehicle's license plate still attached to the bumper. A bank robber in Bumpus, Tenn., handed a teller the following note: "Watch out. This is a rubbery. I hav an oozy traned on your but. Dump the in a sack, this one. No die packkets or other triks or I will tare you a new naval. No kwarter with red stuff on them, too." Dr. Creon V.B. Smyk of the Ohio Valley Educational Council says such notes are, lamentably, the rule. "Right across the board, we see poor pre-writing skills, problems with omissions, tense, agreement, spelling and clarity," he moaned. Smyk believes that the quality of robbery notes could be improved if criminals could be taught to plan before writing. "We have to stress organization: Make an outline of your robbery note before you write it," he said. "Some of the notes get totally sidetracked on issues like the make, model and caliber of the gun, number of bullets, etc., until one loses sight of the main idea -- the robbery." A lawyer defending a man accused of burglary tried this creative defense: "My client merely inserted his arm into the window and removed a few trifling articles. His arm is not himself, and I fail to see how you can punish the whole individual for an offense committed by his limb." "Well put," the judge replied. "Using your logic, I sentence the defendant's arm to one year's imprisonment. He can accompany it or not, as he chooses." The defendant smiled. With his lawyer's assistance he detached his artificial limb, laid it on the bench, and walked out. A man in Orange County Municipal Court had been ticketed for driving alone in the carpool lane. He claimed that the four frozen cadavers in the mortuary van he was driving should be counted. The judged ruled that passengers must be alive to qualify. A man was arrested for stealing a car. When he was taken to court for his arraignment the judge asked, how do you plead? Instead of saying guilty or not guilty the man said: "Before we go any further, judge, let me explain why I stole the car." The judge ruled in record time. A pair of Michigan robbers entered a record shop nervously waving revolvers. The first one shouted, "Nobody move!" When his partner moved, the startled first bandit shot him. After drinking a little too much, Stewart Butcher went to sleep on a West Virginia railroad track. A while later, something woke him-- a 15 car coal train. "I raised up," said Stewart, "and it knocked me out..." An Australian man accused of murdering his wife can't seem to get his story straight. June Mathew, John Rushton's second wife, testified that Rushton told her his first wife died of a heart attack, ran off with a Baptist minister after committing 55 acts of adultery, and drowned after being washed overboard. Rushton also claimed he was a nuclear physicist, a naval commander, and had been knighted for saving the Queen's life. Mathew, who was married to Rushton for five years, believed him because he was a "good talker..." but those pesky microtremors finally gave him away... An off-duty police officer in Newark, NJ, had a pistol-shaped cigarette lighter, which he had been using all night while drinking at a local tavern. After many hours and drinks, he apparently mistook his 32 revolver for the lighter. When he went to light his cigarette, he shot and killed John Fazzola, who was seated 5 stools away at the bar... An unidentified man in Buenos Aires pushed his wife out of an eighth-floor window but his plan to kill her failed when she became entangled in some power cables below. Seeing she was still alive, the man jumped and tried to land on top of her. He missed... Ann Arbor: The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 7:50am, flashed a gun and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away. Arizona: A company called "Guns For Hire" stages gunfights for Western movies, etc. One day, they received a call from a 47-year-old woman, who wanted to have her husband killed. She got 4-1/2 years in jail. Arkansas: Seems this guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. Seems the liquor store window was made of Plexi-Glass. The whole event was caught on videotape. Baggy clothes may save your life: a 13-year-old boy in Belgrade, Yugoslavia fell 130 feet from his hi-rise apartment and survived with only minor injuries. England: A German "tourist," supposedly on a golf holiday, shows up at customs with his golf bag. While making idle chatter about golf, the customs official realizes that the tourist does not know what a "handicap" is. The customs official asks the tourist to demonstrate his swing, which he does--backward! A substantial amount of narcotics was found in the golf bag. Germany: Oil of Olay no longer turning the trick for her, a woman decided that she would bathe in the milk of a camel (a modern-day Cleopatra). So she stole a camel from the local zoo (where *else* can you find a camel when you need one?) and transported it back to her house--where she realized that the camel's name was "Otto." (Editor's Note 2: She might not have gotten much milk from Otto, but she probably made a friend for life while trying to ...) In Bent Forks, Ill., kidnapers of ice-cube magnate Worth Bohnke sent a photograph of their captive to Bohnke's family. Bohnke was seen holding up a newspaper. It was not that day's edition and, in fact, bore a prominent headline relating to Nixon's trip to China. This was pointed out to the kidnapers in a subsequent phone call. They responded by sending a new photograph showing an up-to-date newspaper. Bohnke, however, did not appear in the picture. When this, too, was refused, the kidnapers became peevish and insisted that a photograph be sent to them showing all the people over at Bohnke's house holding different issues of _Success_ magazine. They provided a mailing address and were immediately apprehended. They later admitted to FBI agents they did not understand the principle involved in the photograph/newspaper concept. "We thought it was just some kind of tradition," said one. Educators agree that such mix-ups point to poor reasoning and comprehension skills, ignorance of current events, and failure to complete work in the time allotted. Indiana: A man walked up to a cashier at a grocery store and demanded all the money in the register. When the cashier handed him the loot, he fled--leaving his wallet on the counter. Industrial thieves broke into the Bilgetek plant in Canasta, Wash., by crossing a metal catwalk and then blew it up, having forgotten it was their only means of escape. Joseph Owens of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, didn't think police were listening to his complaints that someone was harassing him, so he came up with a brilliant plan. Owens convinced his friend to shoot him in the shoulder with a shotgun so police would take him seriously. After a trip to the emergency room, Owens faces up to four years in prison for filing a false police report...next time, a little higher and to the left... Lake City, Florida: Karen Lee Joachimi, 20, was arrested for robbery of a Howard Johnson's motel. She was armed with only an electric chainsaw, which was not plugged in. New York: As a female shopper exited a convenience store, a man grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called 911 immediately and the woman was able to give them a detailed description of the snatcher. Within minutes, the police had apprehended the snatcher. They put him in the cruiser and drove back to the store. The thief was then taken out of the car and told to stand there for a positive ID. To which he replied, "Yes Officer, that's her. That's the lady I stole the purse from." Newark: A woman was reporting her car as stolen, and mentioned that there was a car phone in it. The policeman taking the report called the phone, and told the guy that answered that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy the car. They arranged to meet, and the thief was arrested. Rustlers in Spavin, N.D., made off with three Saint Bernard dogs, a stationary bicycle and the visiting in-laws of a farmer, after having failed to correctly identify the valuable cattle on the premises.

Do I have to pay taxes on an internet tourism business working for an overseas tourist agency? I have an opportunity to work online for a tour agency abroad, and my income will be based on commissions per tourist in a tour package offered by them. I am required to have my own page and domain name to operate using my own preferred fictitious name which would detail the tours (the name of the tour agency abroad will not be reflected on my page). What taxes I am responsible to pay? Do I need to register the fictitious name with the State? Do I have to pay local city/county business taxes? The state in question is Florida. I would like to add that I have to register with the agency abroad to work for them. Will I be classified for federal income tax purposes as a self-employed, a statutory employee or statutory non-employee? I want to comply with the law. Thank you so much.

She went to the police station to get fingerprinted for a new job and that's when her troubles started. A lawsuit filed in circuit court alleges false imprisonment of a woman who was seeking a simple request from her local police department. Maria Carrasquillo moved from Puerto Rico to Central Florida in 1994. She had never been in trouble with the law, until March 2005. That's when she visited Kissimmee police to voluntarily get her fingerprints taken. She needed that done to apply for work as a licensed practical nurse. Instead of it being a brief visit, Carrasquillo was arrested for an outstanding warrant. A woman in New York City, with the same name, was wanted on drug-related charges.Carrasquillo spent nine days in the county jail before someone at the Kissimmee Police Department checked the identity of the New York suspect and realized they didn't match. The lawsuit alleges it took months before the court dismissed the case. The officer, who made the arrest, Anthony Bosworth, is no longer with Kissimmee police. Eyewitness News checked and his personnel file said he was a competent employee, but resigned in May 2005. That was two months after Carrasquillo's arrest and less than two years after he was hired as a patrol officer. Carrasquillo's lawyer said a language barrier may have made things worse the day of the arrest. "If they had done a background check, brought in a Spanish speaking person, anything would have revealed they had the wrong person," said attorney Mike Smith. The lawsuit also accuses the city of having an inadequate system of reviewing its charging affidavits. Eyewitness News spoke with the city of Kissimmee's attorney, Don Smallwood, who only said, "The city defends these cases vigorously."

Family Law : DVI Case? This is a motion of dismissal on a DVI thats 7+ years old. The other persons life has been pretty much destroyed: Outstanding tickets, suspended license, sold there home, use the money on drugs with out repairing there license. The only forwarding address (in another county)left was on the deed of selling the house. They for some reason are unable to be "served" . Judge seems to want them to be "served". It's looking pretty dirty on the records. I'm just looking for my rights to be renstated . But the judge just keeps delaying the court 2 weeks later . If I was employed I'd lost my job over these subpoenas for every 2 weeks. this will be the 3rd appearance. What can I do? It was only $50 to get the injunction (It seemed like they passed them out like candy...Lol) So what do I do just "weight" it out ?Florida. And check back please I'll edit through the details section. Thak you all This is not, nor will ever be a criminal issue. It's only a request the civil order be removed it's called "indefinte". I have never had a violent Police Report or Charge in my life. (She filed they gave it to her...Lol ) Her Daddy played golf ,I play paintball ,get the idea. She's left the county, although the records are nation wide, publick ,and enfoceable unitedly through out the states. Its civil law not criminal. I just don't understand why the judge wont cut us loose. Theres no more revenue to be maid on either side. He just keeps say'n she has not been "served" and resets the court date. And 2 weeks later I'm sitting in the court room watching people spit on eash other(and there own record) legally. And no1 has ever been refused an injunction. It's revenue...and they tax it from both direction. alI I've know is if you start a project you better consider the clean up some time and just because you can dose not mean you should. The light dose come from the darkness.....
How can you libs defend Obamas connection to ACORN "vote early and vote often"? He has worked for/with ACORN for many years,he wants to give them 4.1 BILLION in the new "stimulus" package...IF we were just talking about a few people who made up a few names to make a few more dollars...That would be no big deal, but LOOK AT THE FACTS...State Year Details AR 1998 A contractor with ACORN-affiliated Project Vote was arrested for falsifying about 400 voter registration cards. CO 2004 An ACORN employee admitted to forging signatures and registering three of her friends to vote 40 times. 2005 Two ex-ACORN employees were convicted in Denver of perjury for submitting false voter registrations. FL 2004 A Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokesman said ACORN was “singled out” among suspected voter registration groups for a 2004 wage initiative because it was “the common thread” in the agency’s fraud investigations. MI 2004 The Detroit Free Press reported that “overzealous or unscrupulous campaign workers in several Michigan counties are under investigation for voter-registration fraud, suspected of attempting to register nonexistent people or forging applications for already-registered voters.” ACORN-affiliate Project Vote was one of two groups suspected of turning in the documents. MO 2007 Four ACORN employees were indicted in Kansas City for charges including identity theft and filing false registrations during the 2006 election. 2006 Eight ACORN employees in St. Louis were indicted on federal election fraud charges. Each of the eight faces up to five years in prison for forging signatures and submitting false information. 2003 Of 5,379 voter registration cards ACORN submitted in St. Louis, only 2,013 of those appeared to be valid. At least 1,000 are believed to be attempts to register voters illegally. NC 2004 North Carolina officials investigated ACORN for submitting fake voter registration cards. NM 2005 Four ACORN employees submitted as many as 3,000 potentially fraudulent signatures on the group’s Albuquerque ballot initiative. A local sheriff added: “It’s safe to say the forgery was widespread.” 2004 An ACORN employee registered a 13-year-old boy to vote. Citing this and other examples, New Mexico State Representative Joe Thompson stated that ACORN was “manufacturing voters” throughout New Mexico. OH 2007 A man in Reynoldsburg was indicted on two felony counts of illegal voting and false registration, after being registered by ACORN to vote in two separate counties. 2004 A grand jury indicted a Columbus ACORN worker for submitting a false signature and false voter registration form. In Franklin County, two ACORN workers submitted what the director of the board of election supervisors called “blatantly false” forms. In Cuyahoga County, ACORN and its affiliate Project Vote submitted registration cards that had the highest rate of errors for any voter registration group. MN 2004 During a traffic stop, police found more than 300 voter registration cards in the trunk of a former ACORN employee, who had violated a legal requirements that registration cards be submitted to the Secretary of State within 10 days of being filled out and signed. PA 2008 An ACORN employee in West Reading, PA, was sentenced to up to 23 months in prison for identity theft and tampering with records. A second ACORN worker pleaded not guilty to the same charges and is free on $10,000 bail. 2004 Reading’s Director of Elections received calls from numerous individuals complaining that ACORN employees deliberately put inaccurate information on their voter registration forms. The Berks County director of elections said voter fraud was “absolutely out of hand,” and added: “Not only do we have unintentional duplication of voter registration but we have blatant duplicate voter registrations.” The Berks County deputy director of elections added that ACORN was under investigation by the Department of Justice. TX 2004 ACORN turned in the voter registration form of David Young, who told reporters “The signature is not my signature. It’s not even close.” His social security number and date of birth were also incorrect. VA 2005 In 2005, the Virginia State Board of Elections admonished Project Vote and ACORN for turning in a significant number of faulty voter registrations. An audit revealed that 83% of sampled registrations that were rejected for carrying false or questionable information were submitted by Project Vote. Many of these registrations carried social security numbers that exist for other people, listed non-existent or commercial addresses, or were for convicted felons in violation of state and federal election law. In a letter to ACORN, the State Board of Elections reported that 56% of the voter registration applications ACORN turned in were ineligible. Further, a full 35% were not submitted in a timely manner, as required by law. The State Board of Elections also commented on what appeared to be evidence of intentional voter fraud. "Additionally,” t According to the US Justice department,ACORN and its employees are under federal investigation or indictment in 31 STATES !!!

could i have gotten away with hitting this woman? so basically i was filling up a rental car at a gas station in tampa florida, and i was on my way to the airport to go back home to honolulu hawaii. basically, i wont get into detail, but a woman was incredibly rude to me, and i was wondering, what if i had backhanded her? i mean, even if she had gotten the licence plate number of my rental car, and called the police, i was going straight from there to the airport, what are the odds that the city of tampa florida, would actually pay to have me extradited all the way over the ocean from honolulu, just for simple assault? Simple assault is not a felony, it's a misdemeanor, and for tampa county to extradite me, they'd have to fly me out half way across the pacific just to get me to the west coast, then switch planes and fly me across the country again, seems like id have to commit at least a felony b4 they consider it right? the overall cost of extraditing me 8000 miles would be expensive airline tickets, manpower (pay for the guards) then airline tickets to get the guards back home plus my transportation upon arrival. Id say no less than 10 k's they'd be paying to extradite me for such a minor charge, wouldnt it be easier to just be glad im in hawaii rather than still being in their state? Really andee, a made up scenario, excuse you but I was there you were not.
If i hit this woman, could i have gotten away with it? so basically i was filling up a rental car at a gas station in tampa florida, and i was on my way to the airport to go back home to honolulu hawaii. basically, i wont get into detail, but a woman was incredibly rude to me, and i was wondering, what if i had backhanded her? i mean, even if she had gotten the licence plate number of my rental car, and called the police, i was going straight from there to the airport, what are the odds that the city of tampa florida, would actually pay to have me extradited all the way over the ocean from honolulu, just for simple assault? Simple assault is not a felony, it's a misdemeanor, and for tampa county to extradite me, they'd have to fly me out half way across the pacific just to get me to the west coast, then switch planes and fly me across the country again, seems like id have to commit at least a felony b4 they consider it right?
George Washington's home unearthed, but how can we find the populist soul of Constitution? By RANDOLPH E. SCHMID, AP Science Writer 1 hour, 57 minutes ago WASHINGTON - The archaeologists were delighted to at last find the remains of George Washington's boyhood home but got stumped when they looked for evidence of the cherry tree and rusty hatchet. ADVERTISEMENT "This was the setting for many important events in Washington's life," David Muraca, director of archaeology for The George Washington Foundation, announced Wednesday. Most biographies offer little detail of the first president's youth, so the discovery may provide insight into Washington's childhood, he said. The site is located at Ferry Farm, just across the Rappahannock River from Fredericksburg, Va., about 50 miles south of Washington. Philip Levy, associate professor of history at the University of South Florida, found evidence that the house was a one-and-a-half-story residence perched on a bluff overlooking the river. "If George Washington did indeed chop down a cherry tree, as generations of Americans have believed, this is where it happened," said Levy. The researchers said the artifacts they have recovered did not include a hatchet. "There is little actual documentary evidence of Washington's formative years. What we see at this site is the best available window into the setting that nurtured the father of our country," Levy said. Three likely locations were excavated over seven years. The site where the foundations of Washington's home were discovered was built during the first part of the 18th century — Washington was born in 1732 — fit the type of house in which Washington would have lived and also yielded artifacts likely linked to his family. "Now that we have identified the home, we can begin understanding Washington's childhood," Muraca said, as well as dispel some of the folklore surrounding the president's life. For instance, the tale of Washington's chopping down the cherry tree with a hatchet and confessing to his father has never been proven. "We see a county-level gentry home," he said. Washington's father "was wealthy within the county ... not on the colonial level but locally important, and we see a home befitting that status." The house measured about 53-feet by 37-feet, with a central hallway and two rooms on each side of the hallway. The eventual goal, Muraca said, is to rebuild the home as it was in the 1740s. Levy and Muraca spoke at a teleconference organized by the National Geographic Society, which helped fund the work. Research at the location has continued for seven seasons. The 113-acre Ferry Farm — itself a National Historic Landmark — was known as the former home of the Washington family, but previous attempts to locate the house itself had been unsuccessful. Most of the wood from the home was reused by builders on other structures or was damaged in the Civil War, and part of the foundation eroded away, the researchers said. But after digging through layers of dirt the archaeologists found two chimney bases and stone-lined cellars and root cellars. The cellars held a large number of artifacts including pieces of the house's ceilings and painted walls, fragments of 18th century pottery and other ceramics, glass shards, wig curlers and toothbrush handles made of bone. Muraca said they also recovered larger objects such as pieces of a tea set that probably belonged to George's mother, Mary Ball Washington; wine bottles, knives, forks and 10 pieces of a group of small figurines that might have stood on a mantel. They also discovered a well-used pipe bowl, blackened from smoking, that was marked with a Masonic crest. Washington joined the Fredericksburg Lodge of the Masons in 1753. "While we can't say that this was George Washington's pipe, we can wonder about it," Levy said. And there were burned remains of a fire at the farm on Christmas Eve, 1740, which Washington mentioned in letters. During the Civil War the farm served as a staging site for Union soldiers attacking Fredericksburg. Washington was known to swim in the Rappahannock and to take the ferry to Fredericksburg and grew to adulthood at the farm. But he spent less time there as he got older. He eventually moved to his half-brother's estate at Little Hunting Creek, south of Alexandria, Va., later renamed Mount Vernon. In addition to National Geographic, the research is funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia, The Dominion Foundation, the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation and many individuals. Populism is a discourse which supports "the people" versus "the elites". Populistic thought is what prompted Washington to be the first president rather than Hancock.
If there is an investigation into Acorn, shouldn't it be the same for the 2000 and 2004 election fraud? This is long...but worth it. In fact, this is so good, I might repeat this twice! Exit poles had Reagan behind by 8 to 10 points and he won. Exit poles had Gore ahead by 8 to 10 points and he lost. Exit poles had Kerry ahead by 8 to 10 points and he lost. We now have Obama destined to lose as it is being estimated that the exit poles will show Obama 6 to 10 points ahead of McCain! Don't let nobody fool you, the exit poles are a very reliable source to determine the outcome of an ongoing presidential election. There was an error percentage rate of only 3%. On December 13, 2004, at a United States House Judiciary Committee field hearing in Columbus, Ohio, computer programer Clinton Eugene Curtis testified that in Florida, the year 2000, he wrote a computer prototype for Republican Congressmen Tom Feeney of the 24th District that would rig an election by flipping the vote fifty-one forty-nine! In 2004, the exit poles (The International Gold Standard) showed that Kerry was winning fifty-one to Bush's forty-eight. The official results showed Bush winning fifty-one to Kerry's forty-eight point five! Raymond Lemmy was to give Curtis pertinent information regarding who was at the root of the voter fraud. He was later found dead in a Georgia hotel room. Cause of death: suicide. Police said they don't have photos of the suicide scene but later photos have surfaced showing blunt trauma and can be seen in a documentary called "Murder Spies & Voting Lies" by Earthworks Films by Patty Sharaf. More da@&%! liberals. Police produced a receipt that shows when Lenny checked out of the hotel. Research shows that if you commit suicide in a hotel, YOU DON'T CHECK OUT! Clinton Eugene Curtis was given a polygraph test and was found to be truthful in all of his responses (Saint Petersburg Times). No need to debate me on this, it's a matter of public record - all the details are here- look them up. Late in the evening of voting during the 2004 election, 6 states showed that the exit poles favored Kerry, the results suddenly veered off to Bush! (Matter of record) In Ohio's 2004 election, Ward 1 Precinct 8, only 638 ballots were cast on election day. Bush received over 4,000 of those votes! Do the math. (Matter of record) In Cleveland where 83% of the voters were for Kerry, 23.93% of all the voters were purged. (Predominantly Democratic region) In Warren County, Ohio locked down the location where the votes were being counted and didn't allow any witnesses or news media inside claiming that it was ordered by Homeland Security. The next day Homeland Security said they knew of no such order. Ohio's Secretary of State's computer server, that reports the voting status, was moved during the night to severs located in Chattanooga , Tennessee, to a company called Smartech Corp which houses GOP servers including the National Republican Committee and Carl Rowe’s infamous email accounts! (Matter of Record) In Delaware County there was a last minute surge of 359 mythical voters who showed up and voted for Bush. How many church buses does it take to bring 359 voters to the pole all at the last minute? I'm not making this stuff up! The Yang Corporation which manufacture voting machines had Republican Congressmen Tom Feeney on their payroll! (Matter or record) I've run out of time... ps: Did Acorn kill anybody yet? ..... FOLKS !!! DON'T FORGET TO ANSWER THE QUESTION !!!!! PEOPLE WHO MISS THE POINT... ...GO BACK TO SLEEP !!!
idaho law question about warrants? Hey I have been living in florida for the past two years. I lived in idaho b4 then and now I am moving back to idaho. I recently did a background check on myself for a job I was applying for in Idaho. I found out that I have a warrant out for my arrest. It says the crime was commited in 2002. I was 19 then I am now 25. I dont know if I have actually commited a crime b4. I have always been a goody goody. So here is my question it has been six years since that warrant was issued. Can they still arrest me for it? Also I was still in idaho when it was issued why did they not arrest me then? I dont belive I even commited a crime, so is there a way I can contest the accusation? Can I just call the county office that the warrant is from and talk to someone about it and get the details for the crime?
