Florida Sales Tax By County Knowledge Base
If I buy a car in one county, but live in another, which tax rate am I charged? I live in Florida, and I'm driving 120 miles to go and buy a car. My county has 6.5% sales tax and the county that the owner lives in has 7% sales tax. That .5% is $75, and I'm going to be really poor, so I'd like to make sure to pay the lesser amount, if possible. How will I know what I'll be charged? Does it go by the address of the buyer, seller or the address of the location where I transfer the title? Just wanted to note that I am buying from the owner, not a dealership. Thanks for the help so far, but please let me know if you are sure or are just guessing. We have conflicting answers so someone's not 100% sure. Again, thanks so much!
About tax certificates and tax liens in osceola county florida? I don't undestand when this, can some one explain me? DO LIENS SURVIVE THE ISSUANCE OF A TAX DEED? FloridaStatute 197.552 provides, in part, “..except as specifically provided in this chapter, no right, interest, restriction, or other convenant shall survive the issuance of a tax deed, except that a lien of record held by a municipal or county government unit, when such lien is not satisfied as of the disbursement of proceeds of sale under the provisions of s.197.582, shall survive the issuance of a tax deed…”
FLORIDA FORECLOSURE SALE hoa vs. 1st lien holder? The HOA foreclosed on the property in Florida. There is still another case pending against Homeowner (by the lender) If I buy this property would the lender still be able to go against me for a mortgage satisfaction. Also what happens if Lender's ( 1st Mortgage ) case has been dismissed but HOA did pursue and foreclosed on the property and property is now for sale. If I win auction ( Orange County ) will I still have to satisfy 1st lien? I know if this was tax sale I would have all rights to wipe the lien by the mortgage holder, but what happens in the cases like this? Thanks for all answers !!! THANKS FOR RESPOND, BUT QUESTION WAS IF THERE IS A FORECLOSURE PENDING ON THE LIEN ( 1ST MORTGAGE ) AND THE CASE GOT DROPPED OR LENDER WAS UNABLE TO FORECLOSE FOR ANY REASON AND THERE WAS A SECOND LAWSUIT BROUGHT BY HOA. THEY FORECLOSED AND HOUSE ( CONDO ) WAS PUT FOR SALE. WHAT IF I BUY PROPERTY AM I STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR 1ST MORTGAGE OR I'M GETTING PUT IN FIRST POSITION ? THANKS
Starting an internet business in Florida? I just launched my website this month and I have some questions that I can't find answers to (in layman's terms). I just now (literally) filed my ficticious name form online thru Sunbiz.com. I'm not even sure I filled THAT out correctly, though! What else do I need to do? I have an EIN already. I don't have any employees and this is a website operated out of my home by my husband and myself. I am not selling any "products" per se, but I am selling advertising space on my website to advertisers in all 50 states. Do I have to collect sales tax or anything from these sales? I have already gone to my county's and state's websites for info, as well as sunbiz, but I feel like I am just chasing my tail. I have a "regular" full-time job so I don't have the time to go to my county government to have them walk me thru this. Can anyone tell me what else I need to do/get so that I don't get in trouble with the law or IRS? I'm sure I sound like a complete idiot but I am so confused by everything that I am already about to give up on working for myself! These are the sites I have already gone to for assistance: sunbiz, SBA, my state's website and my county's website. If it makes any difference, I am in Volusia county.
Any shooting range owners from Florida? In the part of Florida that I live, there is only one range with four stalls. It is expensive as well as run down. People go there only because they have no other place to go within a 50 mile radius. I decided I want to open a range myself and have already obtained so much data that my head is spinning, yet I still have some questions I am having trouble getting answered. I have the Florida State Statutes, County Codes and Zoning, The NRA Range Sourcebook (in the mail), USAF ETL 08-11: Small Arms Range Design and Construction, the EPA CFRs for lead, and have a couple of properties I am looking at in my area that meet code and would be large enough to suffice the range. The range will be an outdoor range that has 50m (X5), 100 m (X5), 300 m(X3), and 1000 m (X2) lanes that will have use a dirt backstop accompanied by a cement block wall. The range will allow for ammunition from .22 cal to .50 cal. Other than delivery of dirt my brother, cousin, dad, and friend will assist me in the construction of the stalls, measuring the Surface Danger Zone/Vertical Danger Zone, backstops, and targets. My cousin and myself are going to Orlando to become Range Safety Officers for insurance purposes. As business takes off I will be adding a skeet shoot and a tactical/obstacle course with pop-up targets and CQB scenarios, but those are not in the making yet (not until I have an established business). The building where business will be conducted will need to have retail space for accessories, gear, ammo, and guns for sale/rent (I have an application for an FFL but until I have a location of business I cannot send it in). I will also need a 125ft X 125ft room for conducting NRA, CCW, and security courses as well as offer free hunting courses (All but the hunting courses will be taught by either myself or my cousin). A bathroom and breakroom are requirements for a security training facility in my state. I know what is needed by the county, state, EPA, and BATFE in regards to licensing and regulations for the range and firearms, what I am not sure of is the business aspect. I was hoping someone who owns a range in Florida could help answer the few questions that I have left. Q1: I know the average mark-up for firearms and accessories in the area, but how can I find the cost of the firearms and accessories (wholesale/dealers price) or of any price breaks for bulk orders? The distributors will not talk to me until I have my FFL and I cannot get my FFL without a place for business and I cannot get a place of business without a business loan from a bank. Due to the economy and my age, 24, I am going to have to go to the bank with a DETAILED business plan and explain how they will get there money back. Q2: How do you pay a business loan back? Do you pay monthly payments (i.e. mortgage/car payment) or do you pay in back in a lump some with in so many years? If so what is the time frame it is to be paid back in? Q3: Do you know of any good insurance companies to cover my business (in Florida) and if so how much does it cost? Again they will not talk to me until I have a business. Q4: How much do lead removal services cost? The EPA mandates that a company has to come and remove lead from my dirt back stops and I'm sure it is not free. If I have the equipment am I allowed to do it myself? Q5: If you own an outdoor range in Fl, do you mind telling me an estimated cost of construction supplies for your outdoor range? Q6: I am looking a buying a large piece of land and I'm probably not going to find one with a building on it that suits my needs. Any ideas/suggestions on new construction vs. other options I am unaware of such as portable buildings (if they have them) Q7: What are the state and federal taxes (estimate of course) for running such a business in FL? Please, refrain from JUST telling me that this is an expensive business and that it will fail. I now that it will be expensive and that is why I need a DETAILED business plan for the bank. I am hoping for help with the few financial questions left to determine the over all cost and revenue I will need to acquire. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate and look forward to any responses.

buying a home for taxes owed? I have a property that I'm interested in purchasing in Florida, and there are 3 years worth of delinquent taxes (about to be 4) owed. The previous owner passed away leaving no will or mortgage, and the home sits empty gradually falling apart. Three property leins (tax certificates) have been issued, and one holder is able to bring the home to auction. From what I've been told, most tax certificate holders will not go to the trouble of filing for tax deed because they just want to collect up to an 18% return from the investment. There was a guardianship established for the home by a person who cares nothing about the property; It sits as an eyesore to the community, and continues to decay and accumulate back taxes. Since neither the county or lein holders will not bring it to auction, what happens? My interest would be to buy the home for cash to pay back taxes owed, and compensate lein holders and whoever else i would need. I would love to fix up this home for my family; Not trying to "flip it" for a quick sale. Do I need to hire a lawyer to pursue interest in the home? Thanks. Dan
Can you help John McBoo remember? How Many homes do You OwN? On the real estate front, possession is nine tenths of the law. The score is McCain 8, Obama 1. This Bud's for you!! See Politifact's count of the McCains' eight homes: "1. The largest home is a creekside ranch near Sedona, Ariz., spread over more than six acres. That's where McCain entertained vice presidential prospects, including Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, over Memorial Day weekend. Records from Yavapai County Assessor's Office show it includes three houses and is worth about $1.1-million. CNN reported that McCain said there are six houses on the property. The owner is listed as the Cindy Hensley McCain Family Trust. If McCain is correct that there are six houses on the property and you counted each one, the total homes owned would rise to 13 (though again, when pressed by Politico about properties, McCain said he wasn't sure). "2. and 3. In nearby Phoenix, Cindy McCain owns two combined condo units worth about $1.7-million. They're part of the Residences at 2211 Camelback, which bills itself as "The Valley of the Sun's finest example of life beyond the expected" at "the most preferred urban residential address in the prestigious Camelback Corridor." Wild River Rental LLC, which records show is controlled by Cindy McCain, owns another unit in the building, which was purchased in 2007 for $830,000. (This is the unit we missed in our first go round.) "4. In Arlington, Va., the McCains live in a three-bedroom high-rise condo worth $847,800, property records show. "5. They also own a condo in La Jolla, Calif., that's worth more than $1-million. The building overlooks a park and the Pacific Ocean. Records also link the McCains to three other residences. "6. Wild River Rental LLC, the company controlled by Cindy McCain, is listed as the owner of Phoenix condo worth more than half a million dollars. The McCains bought the condo for their daughter Meghan, according to a story in GQ magazine and confirmed through a public records search. The reporter compared the inside to "a spaceship furnished by West Elm. There's a giant silver chimney that extends out of her fireplace into the ceiling about twenty feet above." "7. and 8. Dream Catcher Family LLC, a domestic corporation formed by the McCain family, owns two condos in a beachfront complex in Coronado, Calif. Tax records show one is valued at $2.7-million. The other was purchased this year, according to sales records. A sales price was not available.''
Do the bankruptcy rates of pro athletes and lottery winners show poverty is about more than lack of money? What happens to many athletes and their money is indeed hard to believe. In this month alone Saints alltime leading rusher Deuce McAllister filed for bankruptcy protection for the Jackson, Miss., car dealership he owns; Panthers receiver Muhsin Muhammad put his mansion in Charlotte up for sale on eBay a month after news broke that his entertainment company was being sued by Wachovia Bank for overdue credit-card payments; and penniless former NFL running back Travis Henry was jailed for nonpayment of child support. In a less public way, other athletes from the nation's three biggest and most profitable leagues—the NBA, NFL and Major League Baseball—are suffering from a financial pandemic. Although salaries have risen steadily during the last three decades, reports from a host of sources (athletes, players' associations, agents and financial advisers) indicate that: • By the time they have been retired for two years, 78% of former NFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress because of joblessness or divorce. • Within five years of retirement, an estimated 60% of former NBA players are broke. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1153364/index.htm According to Chelmsford wealth counselor Szifra Birke, roughly one-third of lottery winners find themselves in serious financial trouble or in bankruptcy within five years of turning in their winning ticket. http://www.totalbankruptcy.com/news/articles/miscellaneous/lottery.aspx $13 Million Florida Lottery Winner Dies Broke April 25, 2008 Kris Alingod - AHN News Writer Washington, D.C. (AHN) - A former lottery winner who was facing tax fraud charges died broke early this month, reports said on Thursday. Alex Toth, who won a $13 million jackpot nearly two decades ago, died early this month, his attorney Bjorn Brunvand is quoted in a report by the Suncoast News. He was scheduled to stand trial in June for filing fake tax forms together with his wife, Rhoda. Toth and his wife were charged with tax fraud in 2006. His wife has entered a plea agreement with prosecutors, according to the Palm Beach Post. Florida lottery winner dies penniless Jackson County Floridan By Elaine Silvestrini, Media General News Service Published: April 24, 2008 TAMPA - Former lottery multimillionaire Alex Toth, who was broke and facing tax fraud charges, has died at the age of 60. Toth was scheduled to go on trial in June, accused of filing fake tax returns with his wife, Rhoda, who has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing. By the time the couple were charged in 2006, authorities said they appeared to have no assets. The $13 million Florida Lotto money won 18 years ago was long gone, and the Hudson couple were living in squalid conditions, their only electricity coming through an extension cord rigged to their car engine. The Toths said they lost the money through gambling, gifts and living the high life. The money created rifts in their family, leading to a lawsuit between Rhoda Toth and her son in 1996. Toth’s attorney, Bjorn Brunvand, said his client died in early April. Pasco County Health Department spokeswoman Deanna Krautner confirmed Alex Joseph Toth died April 5. The cause of death was not released.
What can I do about my mortgage? My husband and I bought our house in central Florida in June 2007. It was appraised at $145,000 and we had a 100% loan for $138,000. We still owe $135,000 and are current on our payments. However, we tried to refinance to get a better interest rate (currently 6.5%) and were approved by our current mortgage company for a refi at 5.5%. The house did not appraise out, though. Even with all our upgrades and remodels, the house appraised for only $97,500. This seems a little low to me, considering that the county appraised it at $95,000 and they usually appraise for significantly less than market value (it was $119,000 when we bought the house, for comparison). We did not see the actual appraisal since it was free through the mortgage company. So, I think our appraisal came in low, but any which way, it wouldn't have appraised for enough to get the refinance. We don't qualify for any of the gov't-sponsored mortgage programs, like the refi or mod recently set forth, since we haven't had a change in income or anything like that. I don't understand why our same mortgage company won't refi us, despite the low appraisal, since they are holding the loan either way. We are also paying out the @$$ for PMI at $110 a month! Our total payment would have dropped about $200/month if the refinance went through. We are more likely to default with a higher payment so it makes no sense that our lender won't approve the refi just because of the appraisal. Are there loan programs out there to help us refi for the amount our home appraised for? We were never planning on staying here for the long-term, 5 years tops, and now there is a possibility of job loss or relocation. No matter what happens, we have to figure out what to do with our house. Our lender is required by law to work with us during a short sale but we don't want to have to pay the deficiency, which would be significant, or the taxes on it. PLEASE HELP! Please no solicitations, I'm just looking for answers and explanations, not ads from lenders!! Also, no judgments about how we shouldn't have taken out a loan for 100%; what's done is done. Also, I don't mind paying PMI but we are getting screwed on it. It is costing us over 10% of our monthly P&I payment (which is less than $1000) at $110/month. We got totally screwed by our lender on this; a mortgage broker had quoted us half what we're paying now, as far as PMI goes. Our lender is Wells Fargo, a HUGE company that has just acquired other banks, making them even bigger. There is no reason for them not to work with us on this, but I don't know how to approach them about it, other than call customer service and get the run-around again. Our local office is the one that denied us the refi. I am not looking for people to tell me "Be happy with what you have, just keep paying your mortgage." If we have to move b/c of job loss or relocation, we aren't going to be able to keep paying how we are now. I'm looking for a solution to lower my payments (making renting it out easier) or get out of the mortgage entirely, as one of these problems is imminent (next few months). Thanks for the replies. The amount we refinance would have actually gone up to about $145,000 b/c we would have to add closing costs in, but the PMI amount would be reduced (don't ask me how, I don't understand how they arrive at those numbers!), bringing the total to about $200 less per month b/c of the decreased interest rate. I can somewhat understand how they don't want to refinance us b/c of it is a business but at the same time, we would end up paying more over the long term b/c of the new amount plus additional interest for 30 more years. The risk of them not refinancing us is that we are more likely to not be able to pay the mortgage at what it currently is versus the $200/month less. And, if the job is lost, it's not just a matter of $200 less per month, it's a matter of losing $6000/month income, which means NOTHING will get paid and the house is completely lost unless we can somehow get it rented out and find a cheap rental for us to live in. The issue with it being rented out is that nobody is going to pay our mortgage with their rent. P&I, taxes, PMI and insurance come to $1165/month. We'd be lucky if we could rent it for $1000. So the $200/month would help us there.
Tax deed purchase in osceola county, Florida. is that it? Hi, I am interested in attending to the tax-deed sale this coming tuesday. So far what I have studied about tax deeds is that any lien holder wants his investment back and applies for a deed application so that's why it goes into public auction to foreclose the property. I saw the list that the county has publish for tax-deed sale and I am interested in purchasing the tax deed of one specific property ( after reviewing assessed value, location ) once I purchase the tax deed what is the next step to acquire free and clear title to the property. Please numerate it one by one. I have around 20K to invest. I think is could be enough if the starting bid is only $1900 and let's say if I budgeted not going higher that 5K, assessed value is $135K. Or do you know any specific classes or where to go, to get more informed about it, besides de library, I nearly understand the laws language.
Is 8% sales tax illegal in Broward County, Florida? I recently was charged an 8% sales tax at a flea market in Broward County, Florida. "Is this legal?" If this is illegal what can i do about it? Any info at all will be helpful. Thanks thanks charles but not much help there. Thanks Mike, im asking about the amount of tax i was charged. As far as i know FL sales tax is only 6% and i was charged 8%
Sales Taxes in Different Florida Counties? I own a business in Palm Beach County and I calculate the sales taxes based on PBC tax, which is 6.5%. But I just got a job in Broward county and the custumer is arguing that the sales tax should be 6% since the job is in Broward. So, what sales tax rate should I use ?
Is New York sales tax on clothing (county and state) refundable for an export business? Looking to relocate.? I will have to first pay the tax because the major retailers do not accept resale certificates. However in Florida for example I can apply for a refund for all the sales tax paid for items bought for export. New York is doubly confusing because it seems the 4+something% goes to the individual COUNTY, so I would have to apply for refund from each county I buy from, attaching reciepts as proof of sales tax paid. I want to relocate to NY ASAP, but have to first know if my inventory will cost me 4+% more county taxes~! I likely would never pay the additional 4% state tax as that only kicks in over $110 price. The mall stores I buy at are not geared to accept resale certificates so I have to apply for a refund. The issue is if the COUNTY tax of 4% is refundable. That is new to me because everywhere I've been it's a state sales tax.
tax deed sales in florida? where can i find information on how to buy these properties. and the laws of the state or county that govern them.
Florida Tax Lien certificate not paid after 2 year redemption period? I purchased a Florida tax lien certificate in 2005...The redemption period ended after 2 years & it hasn't been redeemed.I found out I have up to 7 years to foreclose but need to go to County Clerk pay $200 & file for foreclosure...and then it goes into a Tax deed sale. Before I do that... my question is, what is the chance of getting the property? Property has 2 mortgages...Do the banks come & outbid & win property at auction? Is there a secondary market whereby I can sell this tax lien certificate wihtout going to tax deed auction. If I was to foreclose & win at Tax deed auction will I be responsible for other debts from previous owner? What is best course of action? Thx
Small business sales tax question? I run an online business in the state of Florida and have an LLC registered with the state. I know that at the end of the year I'm going to have to report all my income/expenses to the IRS but what should I do about sales tax? Do I need to register myself in a certain county and then charge their rate for orders shipped within FL and give them the tax? Does it matter what county I register in? Will the state or IRS require proof that I have dispersed any applicable sales tax? Right now I'm not even charging sales tax to orders shipped within FL so I figure I'll have to pay for those sales out of pocket. I know this is a lot of questions but thanks for the help! And I should mention that I've lived in multiple counties since starting the business so it's not clear where to register. Logically I'd pick the county with the lowest fees but I'm not sure if that's an option.
Commercial Lease - Can you charge tax on tax? State of Florida, Broward County My commercial lease invoice is as follows: Rent 1500 + 6% tax = $1590 CAM + 6% tax Insurance + 6% tax Property Tax + 6% tax = $490.78 Total "Rent" Payment due $2080.78 Is this right? Can my landlord charge sales tax on insurance and the property tax? Thank you for any help.
When and how do I pay taxes to the IRS for a sole proprietorship? I just started a home based business and would like to know when and how do I pay taxes to the Internal Revenue Service? Do I have to register my business through the IRS as well? The only tax I know how to pay now is the sales tax that I collect from customers. I live in Clearwater, Florida which is in Pinellas County.
TAX PROPERTY SALES FOR AS LITTLE AS $300? I would like to know where i can find a list of these homes for new york and florida absolutely free issued my my county. Also would like to know if you really can buy them for just a few dollars like $10-$3000?
Website Sales in Florida and Licensing? I'm in the process of starting a business (LLC), which will be home-based and 100% off the internet (retail). I'll also be obtaining a Tax ID number with the formation of my LLC. There's one question I can't seem to get a definite answer on and that has to do with obtaining a "business license." I've been doing research and while some say it is required, others say it isn't. I have called various state and county agencies who keep referring me to "another department/agency" that can answer the question. Does anyone have any experience with this in Florida, or can provide a source with a definite answer? Edit: My business will be operating out of Escambia County...
Florida landlords, is there anything else I need to do? I want to lease out my house. I will get a business license from the city and county. My lease will be longer than 6 months, so I won't need sales tax. I'll be running it as a sole proprietorship so I might get a ficticious name and register with the SOS. Is there anything else I need to do or anyone I need to register with? rwa000- Only residential transient rentals- leases 6 months long or less- are subject to sales tax. Perhaps you are paying a county bed tax.
Why are you NOT a democrat? They always want to raise the taxes for the rich. You could work at a 7 11 and be considered rich. Why raise the taxes on someone who works hard to make a living to give to people who just sit on their ass and demand more money? (well...most of them) Why can't most states be like Florida and Tennesse? Don't have an Income Tax, just a sales tax. The budget is good, and it provides jobs. 1 out of 3 people draw Social Security Disability in my county. 2 out of every 3 families need government assitance in my county. I used to work at a gas station and people would come in there, not have enough money on their food stamp card to buy a fountain drink but bring out over $100 to play the lottery. The lottery to me is a "tax on the stupid". Grantid, I know there are people who actually do try to make a living but then you have the people who own big screen tv's, have $62,000 vehicles, pay $25 a month for rent, and never worked a day in their life. I was talking to this one lady, she was complaining that she didn't get a 'bigger rebate' So I asked her, how much money did she pay into taxes? She said 1500, and I asked her how much she got back and her response was "Oh about 3500." What more could she want? Or this lady who called my brother greedy for working TWO jobs to pay for schoool, his insurance, his phone bill, and his apartment. HE's the greedy one. Seriously...so why am I not a democrat? I believe there should be a flat tax and people should be able to spend their OWN money. Stop raising the taxes on people who worked hard to get where they are at so the people who can get their 'paycheck' (as I've heard people refer it too) That's the reason. Look up Union County Kentucky, do the reasearch. I doubt there will be anything online about it. But sad to say...it's true. My dad works for the government, not an exaggeration. My bad...one in 5. That was 2006 btw. Fastforward umm let's say 2 years. Not misled. And government assitance? A lady receives 2100 a month in foodstamps. A MONTH! Not including her 'paycheck' at the first of the month.

How do a people call themselves FREE when they must give over half of their produce to their govt? Add it up! Your FED WITH (income tax) FICA (social security) Med FICA (Medicare/Medicaid)... ..Now your state sales tax, Drivers license fees, Auto tag fees (or buss fare if you do not own a car) STATE income tax for most of you (I live in Florida, we have a Republican Governor, and so far, no income tax) Now what about your property taxes, building permit fees, fines if you let your grass grow too tall,Some counties in my state add an extra 1 percent to the states sales tax,!! CORPORATIONS pay income tax on every dime of profit they earn, the same profit they pay YOU from on which YOU pay tax!!! Owners get taxed twice if they dare pay themselves a salary! WHERE DOES IT END?????? What is the exit strategy for this war???? Should we allow our Government to run up our indebtedness to them for to do things which neither we nor our constitution ask them to do? Ok trickie, I'd e-mail you directly, but you dont allow it! The word PRODUCE does not only mean Vegetables! it also means the product of your labor! which is also not just the widgets you assemble, but the MONEY you earn doing it.

For snoopy: "freedom is not free" refers to the fact that our ancestors fought and died for it and that we continue to fight and die to maintain the Notion today! For Tom: Lots of corporate owners pay little personally, and THAT is my point, they pay little PERSONALLY because they pay themselves almost nothing after they are done meeting payroll, Matching YOUR social Security Deductions, Paying 50 to 80 percent of your health insurance premium, and all the other stuff like your paid time to NOT come to workm Thier Property taxes, ETC. , ETC. , ETC.... NO WONDER so many EVIL corporations are taking their operations elswhere!
How can I make the right choice for this time in my life? I am 53 years old and have been unhappily married for 35 years. My situation in life right now is this: I have lost (had to close) the business my husband and I owned and ran together. The house we have lived in for 18 years is being foreclosed on. My credit is completely destroyed - I have over $75,000.00 in credit card debt. I have a rental house I am in the process of selling and only hope to clear around $17,000.00 from the sale. I have no college education though I am extremely knowledgeable in most all aspects of daily business operations. (Bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, quarterly reports, customer service, management, purchasing, receivables/payables, etc.). Having been self-employed for most of my life, my resume is limited at best. As I said previously, I am in a miserable marriage but have been married for all of my adult life. I am scared, lonely and think that is my only chance to get out of this life. However the thought of walking away with no home, no job and only $8,000.00 is really truly frightening. What should I do? I have no other family or friends to count for help. I am alone if I leave. Also, I live in a Florida county holding one of the highest rates of unemployment in the nation. Jobs are few and far between. If anyone has any positive suggestions, I would be grateful and appreciative.
