Are there areas to camp for football games at U of Florida (Gainesville)? I am thinking about going to the UF vs FSU game on November 28th...we are from NY so it would be a long drive down and the tickets are going to be around $120 a piece at least, so we want to save money by camping out. Are there areas to do this around the stadium? Or will we just have to get a hotel or something...

And it's insulting. It's insulting to you, the reader, knowing that the N.C. State football team paid more to put up the Wolfpack at a hotel before home games -- almost $86,000 for a handful of Friday nights -- than you'll earn in six months or a year or maybe two or three years. we just had an electric fire what do we do? we just had an electric fire near gainesville florida. red cross put me my girlfriend and our 11 month daughter in a hotel for three days and our third day is up tommow. we went to other orginizations and tried the housing athority but it seems like nobody can help more. i have family members out of state saying they can send money next week but we wont have a place to stay til then. what more can we do?

Secluded Florida beaches? I'm just looking for a nice, preferably secluded/undeveloped beach in northeast FL to enjoy...Anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know any beaches in northern Florida (but not the panhandle...I'm in Gainesville so preferably ~2 hours max from there) that are secluded, pretty, and natural? Preferably with a pier/groyne/jetty of some sort... I'm just looking for somewhere in FL that *doesn't* have condos, hotels, and McMansions built right up along every mile of shore and *isn't* tourist-infested, if that's possible in Florida...lol...
