I am wondering what hotels, in or close to (less than 15 minutes away) have things for older teens (15-18 ish) to do on new years eve, like parties and stuff like that at the hotels. If so, what do they offer at the hotel for teens to do on new years eve? thanks

Do you live in Naples Florida or have you ever visited? What was your impression? A couple of years ago a good friend and I went to Florida on vacation. We didn't have a definite plan so ended up in Naples Florida. I thought Naples was beautiful, but i found that it was difficult to find public beaches or hotels with open views of beaches and the ocean. We didnt' stay long there, but went up to Ft. Myers Beach were we found the beaches to be more open. Again, don't get me wrong, but I thought Naples seemed like it was for the rich and or famous. Was my impression wrong? Please let me know of your experience of you live in Naples, or if you have ever visited. Thanks!

How can I send a package inside US? I need to send a package of documents (about 9 lbs) from Naples Florida to Brownsville Texas, but the person who is going to do the pick up in Brownsville, is not a US resident and he doesn't have an address, he is going to cross the border (legally) to pick it up the package. My question is: Can I send the package to the hotel he is going to stay, without any problem? I mean, it's legal? Or: Can I send the package and pick it up at the FEDEX or UPS location in Brownsville? Thanks Cielo del fin del mundo, si no hablas ingles, entonces no tienes idea de lo que pregunto y no te corresponde a ti contestar.

Traveling To Florida Need Help Please? Okay here is the deal, yesterday I posted a question asking about what the best beach on the gulf side of Florida was. Well after doing some searching and coming across some pics I really would like to try Naples in Florida. The thing is in the pics I found it never said what beach they were on or the location it just said Naples. My questions are, what would be the best beach to visit in Naples FL? I would also like to know if any one could recommend a inexpensive beach front hotel there? One more question can you get in the ocean in Nov there? The reason I ask about getting in the water is, last year some of my family went to Destin in Fl in early Nov and she said the water was to cold to get in. I thought maybe where Naples is further down may be you could get in the ocean. Any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read all of this : ) One more thing sorry I will be traveling with kid's so I would like the beach to be kid friendly. Not worried about the kid's on the beach at all, I just didn't want to end up on a beach with a bunch of party going kids. I just wanted the area to be kid friendly that way they would have some thing to do. I have been to many other beaches and my kid's have as well, but the last one I went to was really bad. There were people so out of it they didn't know where they were. They were more or less all over each other and it was just not a good place for kid's. That is all I ment by kid friendly. But do you know any thing about Naples?
Can anyone recommend a beach resort on Florida gulf coast that has restaurants/bars within walking distance? We are going to Florida in May for one week and would like a beach vacation on the Gulf Coast. We are 2 adult couples travelling from the UK. We would prefer somewhere that is not too far south as we have to fly home from Tampa. We have been to Naples before but found the hotels a bit spread out. We were miles from the beach and had to get taxis to restaurants in the evening as we like a glass of wine! We also found Naples very pricey. Ideally we would like a two bedroom suite/condo close to a nice beach but walking distance to lively restaurants and bars in the evening. Any ideas?
Best Ritz-Carlton in Florida? I know that there are a few Ritz-Carlton luxury hotel and resorts in Florida (Amelia Island, Orlando, Sarasota, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, South Beach, Naples, Coconut Grove, and Key Biscayne), and was just wondering if anyone here has been to any, how the experience was, and which is supposed to be the best? A few more side questions-- Was it crowded when you went (that's a positive), is there much of a nightlife (all ages), and is it fun for large families? Thanks.. Uncrowded is fine, but preferably not dead (I guess that really depends on the season). As long as there are plenty people at the bar at night and pool, it would work.

Need Help With A Traveling Question Going To Florida? Okay here is the deal, yesterday I posted a question about what the best beach was on the gulf side of Florida. After doing some searching my self and stumbling up on some photos I really want to go to Naples in FL. I found a lot of pics and it looks great but the pics never said what beach they were on or location. My question is does any one know what the best beach is in Naples? I would also like to know if some one could recommend a really in expensive beach front hotel there? One more question, can you get in the ocean in November in Naples? I know this is a lot but could some one please recommend some thing for me. The reason I ask about being able to get in the ocean in November is that my cousin went to Destin in Nov and it was to cold, I thought maybe where Naples is further down may be it would be warmer. Thanks for taking the time to read all this and I would greatly appreciate any info... oh one more thing I will be traveling with kids...
Are you ashamed to see a British family behave so badly abroad? "A British family is at the centre of a legal case in America after they allegedly told a luxury hotel they did not want to be served by black staff. The family, whose principal member has only been named as Rodney Morgan, were said to have asked management at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida, they did not want to deal with "people of colour" or staff with "foreign accents". Legal papers state their request was then entered into the computer system at the five star hotel before a black waiter was then stopped from serving them." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/7620781/British-family-tells-US-hotel-they-do-not-want-to-deal-with-black-staff.html

Do you say you want a Revolution? Okay, take two on this question. Some Blue Meanie, Holy Roller had my question deleted. Reason- insulting to others and a rant. How so? Honest to God, if there even is one, I really don't see why. Christ, you know it ain't easy, you know how hard it can be, and the way things are going with the Beatles bigger than Jesus, they're gonna crucify me. Do you say you want a Revolution? I was in Naples, Florida a few weeks ago. I was in an Irish pub, McCabe's and they had a singer/guitarist there. The audience requested a few Beatles songs but the musician wouldn't play most of the requests. Finally he settled on "Revolution." That was a great song, Revolution. John had been involved with Yoko Ono and he was really starting to come out as far as speaking his mind about politics. John had been chiding the late Beatle manager Brian Epstein about speaking out against the Vietnam War during their last tour. Brian told them not to comment on it. John was in enough trouble about his Jesus comments. "The Beatles are bigger than Jesus now." And then he said "Jesus was all right but his disciples were thick and ordinary." The Ku Klux Klan sent the Beatles a death threat to their hotel. At a concert down South, Memphis I believe, John and George winced when a boy lit off a pack of firecrackers at a Beatle concert. They looked at each other to see if one of them had been shot. George said "America was mad. It had only been a few years since Kennedy was killed." Revolution was recorded in several forms. At George's home in Esher, a demo was recorded with John singing double tracked and playing on an acoustic guitar. George had a four track recorder so a few overdubs were done. For the most part, this first version of Revolution had a very homey feel to it like the Beatles were jamming in your living room. So cool. Later on the White Album "Revolution 1" was recorded. It first it was much longer. Yoko was reading a passage. John added in sound effects that he later transferred over on to "Revolution 9." He can be heard vomiting, having orgasms, doing primal screams, and all such audio avante garde influenced by Yoko Ono and her conceptual performance art. This extended version of Revolution was hated by the other Beatles. Paul was doing multiple takes of "Obla Di, Obla Da" as well as writing songs and producing demos for Mary Hopkin and a group he reformed called Badfinger. For Mary Hopkin, Paul produced a demo called "Goodbye." For Badfinger he produced "Come and Get It." The song writing credits were to Lennon and McCartney but Paul wrote and produced the songs for his new found talent. John was not sure how he wanted go with the intention of his Revolution. He sang "don't you know that you can count me out-in!" He didn't know if he was for or against a Revolution. He was very much involved with Yoko at the time. He came back from India disillusioned from the Maharishi. He suspected the Indian guru of trying to seduce some women in the Beatles entourage. But if the truth be told, he was using that rumor as an excuse to get back to London to be with Yoko and take drugs. He had been experimenting with LSD and he missed the trips. Yoko was taking heroine and soon John would be showing up at Beatles recording sessions in a lethargic state. Paul would try in desperation to rally the Beatles to do the next take of Obladi Oblada and John would simply smile at him and laugh and as soon as he had the chance would go off with Yoko. Yoko would follow John into the bathroom. She never left him alone. She was sick and put a bed in the recording studio. The other Beatles were livid. Before Yoko, the Beatle wives and girlfriends were never allowed in the recording studio. Now here was Yoko, not only present in the studio, but sleeping in the studio and making critical comments. "Beatles do this. Paul play piano like this." Paul was shocked. Here was John's bird telling him how to play music. Later on, when Paul recorded "Hey Jude" as a new Beatles single. John decided to re-record "Revolution" on the other side of the single making the disc a Double A single. Two hits on one disc. Paul's Hey Jude on one side. John's Revolution on the other side. He brought in Nicky Hopkins to play piano. Special care was taken to produce the lead guitar that was recorded directly into the mixing board. John overloaded the circuits and created a distinctive distortion sound. The opening machine gun sounding guitar riff is his signature. John Lennon was breaking the studio rules again. Many of the recording artists of that late 1960s time period were producing loud distorted guitar sounds. Eric Clapton. Jimi Hendrix. Now John was adding his own sound. He would produce a similar sound with "Cold Turkey" as a solo artist with Yoko and then aided by Eric Clapton, a friend of John and George. But here in "Revolution" the sound is John's sound. It is the machine gun of a Revolution, loud and violently abrasive. It was the perfect backdrop of student anti-war
Inexpensive honeymoon....from IL to Florida? I was doing research on here and people suggested Pensacola as a cheap option..but Key West is the most favored by people here. There were also suggestions for Naples (tho very expensive so that's out) and St. Augustine..which got my attention because it is based on history and has quaint little shops. Hmmmm....so many choices. We are going in late Feb early March so hopefully the weather will be nice. I see on the online website...it gives 300-400 per person for flight AND hotel. My question is...is the 300 to 400 per day? I'm probably reading that wrong, right? Plus how do you match all the times on it? Like, how do you get the airplane to arrive at the same time as check-in...etc? Also...can we each have just one carryon per person? (2 people) I'll just have to jam pack everything in there enough for 4 days. Will that cut costs on luggage fees? Please help thanks Does this also include getting back? Or is that a different price, flying back? I like expedia.com as the site to use. I see that flying to Key West is VERY EXPENSIVE! Any inexpensive options?

Summer jobs with perks.? I'm a college student and need to find something to do next summer. I was a housekeeping supervisor and occasional concierge at a hotel at Cedar Point last summer, and that was pretty awesome. But now I'd like to go somewhere else. I've been toying with summer jobs in Alaska, South Florida (Naples), Seattle, Boston, California, and Germany (I'm a German major and have relatives in the Heidelberg area). Although I would love just to go to Europe and work on my speaking abilities, I want something in return. Do you know of any summer jobs that offer amazing perks? As far as I know, Holland America Cruise Line offers summer employees a free vacation for the employee and the employee's family after two seasons. Any others? I'd like to share it with my family, if possible. Thank you so much! Blessings Be.
