My best friend and I are planning a trip to Florida with two of our guy best friends this summer. We've pretty much decided on the Fort Lauderdale area, but I've heard the night life is better for our age in South Beach Miami. For those who have experience or stories, would you say getting a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale or a hotel in South Beach would be more fun?

How close are these hotels in Florida? My cousins and I are going on vacation to Florida. We're both staying in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. They're staying at The Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa and we're staying at The Lago Mar Resort. My question is how close together are these two hotels? When I looked at the map, it looked like they were on the same beach and vevy close. Can you walk from one to the other along the beach? Thanks.

Need help to find a hotel in Miami Florida that will shuttle us from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport.? We are going on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise line, and we are flying into Ft. Lauderdale. We need to find a hotel in Miami, that could send a shuttle to pick us up from Ft. Lauderdale Int'l. Airport. However, if there is some kind of shuttle that will just pick us up from Ft. Lauderdale and straight to the port, or take us back to the airport from the port when we return (does not have to affiliated with a hotel). Any ideas?

However, before I reserve a hotel room there, I’d like some feedback on this hotel. Idea of a nice place to stay in the Florida Keys? I was going to fly my family into Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, do a night there, rent a car and drive down to the Keys. I wanted to get some advice on a nice place to stay. Obviously would prefer value, something reasonably priced and nice. We were looking for some type of condo or 2 bedroom hotel for a few nights.
