Arizona/New Mexico Spa Vacation ideas? I'd like to spend four to seven days out West at a wellness spa in Arizona or New Mexico. I'm a bit particular, so here is the list (btw, I'm already ruling out Golden Door or Canyon Ranch - which I know are too pricey) Women and Men go there Out in the desert, and not merely on the outskirts of major cities Three healthy, low-calorie, low-fat meals cooked on site. Exercise opportunities, with optional classes. Spa treatments such as massages available. Budget: Up to $300 per night. Any ideas, folks?

What's a great, inexpensive vacation spot in Arizona? I want to go to a spa (maybe with some natural springs), but I'm on a pretty tight budget. Does anyone know of a clean, pleasant vacation spa in Arizona? I'm open to other parts of the country, too if there's a good deal!

My mom and Grandma have like this family tradition of making a huge deal out of the 13th, 21st, 40th, and 60th birthday. But that isn't rare. I'm looking for a beach/spa/relaxing vacation, any ideas? We were looking at Hawaii (I'm from there so we would know where to go), or some place in Asia. We are currently living in Japan so the places here would be a bit closer than Hawaii (plus my mom is still there so a HUGE reason NOT to visit). It's just my husband and I so I want it to be romantic not kid friendly. We wanted some place where there are nice hotels and spas and of course beaches but that is not expensive. We've heard Thailand is good but what about Guam or Malaysia, or any other place for that matter?
Are there any all inclusive spa resorts in Colorado? My mom and I want to go on a mother daughter vacation and I though a spa would be a fun place to have it. We want to stay in or very near to Colorado. We want it to be all inclusive including the spa so we don't have to keep track of money. If you have any other ideas for this trip they are welcome!
What would be a great spa or resort for a single gal to go on vacation? I'm making prelimary plans to take a much-needed vacation, after spending the last four years taking care of my ill mother. I have had basically no life and no break since before then - not much time for dating either, so no boyfriend either! I want to go somewhere like a Spa-like place or fantastic beach resort, but I will be alone and don't want to feel like a loser. Does anyone know of any places in the U.S. where other singles go on vacation, just to have a break by themselves? I'm thinking, sitting by a beach, getting lots of massages and just getting pampered. East Coast is preferable - I live in NYC but don't want to be on a plane for 12 hours either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
Where are the greatest Philippine vacation spots? I am going to visit the Philippines. I want to know what I should be expecting there before I visit there. I want to know how great the night life is, the beaches, best shopping places, best swimming areas, spa areas and many more. I want my vacation to be special because it is my first time visiting and I want to have an unforgettable experience.
How can I avoid bedbugs on a vacation? Recent publicity about the bedbug epidemic has made me antsy (pun) about going on vacation. I have enough problems with my house without bringing home critters. I don't need fancy amenities like a spa, pool, or internet service; only a comfy bed and bathroom. I don't want to spend a fortune, but a cheapo motel is inviting unwelcome guests (bedbugs included). Any suggestions?
What is the best spa to get a massage at in Hawaii? I'm headed there on vacation (it's my honeymoon) in a few weeks and wanted some suggestions for a couple's massage. We like Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, and Swedish. I've been reviewing http://hawaiimassagetherapy.com and their spa and massage therapist reviews and got some good feedback, just wanted to hear from the community as well.
2-3 day vacation ideas.. maybe a spa resort? I live in utah but I'm thinking of going out of state? okay so I just got a glimpse of my holidays schedule (I work in retail) and I think I'll take a 2-3 day vacation in early january. I'll probably need a break from work after that, but I won't be able to get more than a couple days off I probably don't want to spend more than $500. I'm only 20. I don't ski or snowboard I don't have a car I'm willing to fly somewhere (maybe vegas or colorado) I'll be going by myself most likely I feel kind of like going to a spa resort or something over night and just getting massages and stuff during the day I was thinking maybe just going to park city over night and staying at a really nice resort, but if someone else has any ideas, please let me know. I'm open to ideas at this point
Can we book Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa in 1 month advance? My family, my friend, and I want to go on a vacation in Orlando, Florida in June. We want to stay at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. We're doing it with the timeshare thing and it says we can only book like 35 days in advance (which sounds a little crazy). Will there still be units available then? And if not, do you know of another good resort to stay at?
Do you have any ideas for a special vacation? My husband loves to fish! We both love the Florida Keys and particularly Marathon Key. I would love to stay in nice hotel with a kitchenette that also has spa services. I would also like to charter a boat that could accommodate us overnight. Does anyone have any suggestions, or had a similar vacation experience? If so, please let me know where you stayed. Thank you!
Who is paying for the annual retreat to the Kingsmill Resort & Spa? Obama, speaking to about 200 House Democrats at their annual retreat at the Kingsmill Resort and Spa, dismissed Republican attacks against the massive spending in the stimulus. Plus their families! Nice place to vacation! Taxpayers fund transportation and other costs for the Democrats’ annual “issues conference.” Last year, the Democratic Caucus paid Amtrak nearly $70,000 for the slow train members took down to Kingsmill, according to quarterly office reports. The office paid similar amounts for travel in 2007 and 2006. Other costs from last year’s retreat include $5,716 for an official photographer and $40,650 for telephones and Internet, according to the same records. Members are encouraged to bring their families every year in an effort to get lawmakers get better acquainted. One hundred eleven spouses made the trip to the Republicans’ retreat this year. Family members can participate in the sessions or enjoy a vast menu of other activities which included skiing and sledding at last week’s GOP retreat. http://mobile.politico.com/story.cfm?id=18408&cat=topnews
Spa is foaming like an episode of 'I Love Lucy' - help needed? Okay here's what happened: my spa has a tile-covered waterfall along the back. I cleaned the tile with Tilex brand tile cleaner. It contains phosphoric acid but the label did not mention detergents. I used perhaps 1/4 - 1/2 cup for 2 8'X6' panels of tile. When I turned on the jets (it doesn't foam when the waterfall is on) the soap bubbles were so deep they looked like some slapstick comedy routine Kramer from Seinfeld would find himself in. All I needed was a horse to feed some Beef-a-reeno to and I was set. Any ideas - short of draining the spa - on how to reduce the foaming? My pool guy is out of town for a week and a half on vacation. Thanks, fellow spa owners/pool maintenance people!
Does anyone have recommendations for nice cabins on a lake in NC, SC, TN, or GA for a family vacation? Please, no wikipedia-type responses. I'd like first-hand recommendations. I'm looking for a neat place to have a family vacation, possibly reunion. I'd like to find a place with cabins on a lake with good fishing and swimming possibilities. I don't want "Resort & Spa" suggestions; I'm looking for simple, clean cabins that have their own kitchens - to keep expenses down. In the mountains is a plus, as are additional amenities like a lodge that would allow everyone to gather at once. I would be interested in places that could accomodate a group of 25 people, or possibly a group of 65 people. I'd like to stay in the eastern Tennessee, northern Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina areas, but if you know of a place not too far away from those, feel free to suggest it. Thanks!
Does anyone have any recommendations for a Michigan beach vacation? My friend and I are 21 and looking for ideas as far as cheap spas, vegetarian restaurants, nightlife, beaches, and the dunes. We are taking a weekend vacation and mainly want to be lazy and relax. Also, we are on a budget! Thanks. I was looking at Muskegon, Silver Lake, or Grand Haven Pier. Any suggestions? I was hoping the beaches wouldn't be tooo crowded. ... or Saugatuck!
Is freeport Bahamas a good place to go for vacation? I heard Nassau was the best island in the bahamas but the problem is the only place my timeshare is available for my vacation time is in freeport. I want to go to a place with beautiful beaches and gorgous hotels with pools and spas, very tropical.

where do most Americans go on vacation? I believe not all American citizens feel its necessary to travel abroad for their holidays (vacation). So where would their favourite destinations be, and where do they prefer to stay. In a hotel, condominium with all the resort facilities like communal pool, gym, spa and onsite other onsite facilities, or do they (like most brits) prefer to hire a private villa with a pool and all the facilities and comfort of a home ? I am thinking of buying a villa in Orlando for rental and my own use when I can go there, but would I be better buying a condo for more regular rental income from US citizens ? any advice would be appreciated.
What are nice vacation spots in California? I was thinking of planning a trip to Cali but I don't know to which city and beaches. I just want a place that has clean beaches, water sports, good restaurants, a hotel with spa treatments and shopping in the area. I know nothing about Cali though so its hard for me to plan a trip. Any suggestions on places to stay and places to go?
If you had 5 days and less than $2,500 to vacation alone, where would you go? I'm going to go on vacation from Christmas Eve until the 28th or 29th. I don't have any family, kids, or hubby, so I'm really wanting to see different scenery and relax. I really enjoy the water and would like to go to the beach or some tropical place if possible. I'm also open to just staying at a nice hotel with a spa and beautiful pool to relax in the continental U.S. I was told Las Vegas has a whole different feel during the holidays. What would you do and where?
Is anybody else worried that once all the bailout money is spent? That the country will still be in the crapper?? Circuit City files for bankruptcy, GM is going down big time, DHL US domestic is shutting down completely (9,500 jobs lost) all on the same day that AIG get's an upgraded bailout package worth $150 billion while their execs are still going off on spa vacations?? This bailout doesn't really seem to be helping, does it?
