Should I switch jobs? Need some input... 3 weeks ago I started a inventory clerk position full time with benefits at a Resort and spa, making $12/hour. Starting to get settled in (free uniform, employee ID, selected benefits, etc). Just today was offered an Inventory Manager position with a pet retailer making 13/hour with 5 hours overtime guaranteed, averaging out to be about $13.90/hour, again with full benefits. These positions are in south Florida, Broward county. Should I switch now to become a manager making slightly more, or stay with the current company as is or request a raise at the current job? The working conditions at both locations are similar, though I work with older (35-50) co-workers that are friendly and the place is fun, whereas the pet retailer is much younger (18-30) and may or may not be as upbeat. I am 24. Just want some opinions on what others may do. Thanks!

There are a few things we know we want, somewhere as 'all inclusive' as possible, meaning more like a resort than a B&B, where we really don't HAVE to leave if we don't want to, but if we decide to explore there's something interesting to see outside the resort. Also should be somewhere where he can go fishing one day and I can go to a nice spa (in the resort preferably) but overall somewhere where we don't really have to think or worry about anything and just eat and drink and be 'merry'. I decided that I am going to have a Party :D? I have made 4 friends at my new school. I know my birthday isn't until May but I want to pick what I should do for my birthday. Most of the children (friends included) come from low income family's can't afford a shopping party or can give me a gift BUT I am ok with that :D My friends are girls of all different ages. One is in 8th maybe 9th grade. 2 of them are in 6th. 2 others are in 10th grade. They are all my friends and we all get along well together. Their will be me and them at my party. Which makes 6 of us girls. I live in south Florida and I have a few options in my home town and towns around. Some of my options are Spa Day - at WoodHouse Day Spa ~ it is very near our school and my mom could pick us up from school and take us there (because most of the girls don't have rides) Beach Party - I'm not the most appealing thing in a bathing suite and the other girls are. But also what would we do at the beach? There is a place to eat cake but that would be GRRROOSSSS and why would we go to the beach after school on a Friday that is something you do on the weekend here. Ceramics - but the thing about ceramics is that we have to pay for everything ~ the ceramic thing the cake the pizza or food AND then what do I do after ward ? Have a sleepover at a hotel ? my house can't hold all of us Hotel Party - have all the girls bring clothes and a bathing suite and robe and slippers and have an amazing slumber party with junk food and a room decorated with favors. the last thing I could even think of is taking the girls to an amusement park like disney or epcot? Spend the weekend at a hotel like nickoloden resort or laki tiki? I just don't know what to do or where we should go ? Should I buy a house or condo? Hello. I am looking to buy a place in Florida. I am retired, but I'm 47. My wife sadly passed two years ago. I have found two really great places in Palm Beach Gardens. 1. There is a condo in a high rise building that is for sale. I've looked at it, and it looks great. The elevators go directly to your own private lobby or foyer. It is a 3 bedroom 4 bath. Huge views of the Atlantic ocean everywhere. A wraparound Lanai, tile flooring, huge walk in closet, huge master bath with his and her showers, jacuzzi. The building also has a pool, private beach, hot tub, sauna, steam, bar, dining room, and theater. It is 24/7 secure, 24/7 concierge and room service. The only problem is, I love golfing, so I would have to purchase membership at a club 3 miles out, and play there. Also, valet and a garage and dock for boat. 2. The second place is a house in a golf/resort gated community also located in Palm Beach. Again, it is 24/7 security and gate house. The house is a 4 bedroom, 5.5 bath. My taste for interior is modern white flooring, with modern dark wood furniture. However, since this house was built in 1990's, it is very old looking. I would definitely need to re model most of the house. It comes with a pool, hot tub, and dock. Also, the house has theater, elevator, living, huge kitchen, huge dining, huge master, huge master bath. The best thing though, is that this house is in this wonderful community. Two 18 hole courses, public pool and hot tub, spa, sauna, steam, tennis courts, bridge room, four different dining rooms, business center, and hotel/resort/concierge style staff that cater to any desire, also, I could drive a golf cart around the community. They also have food delivery, catering, and geat big parties throughout the year. I even hear, that in the more expensive deleopment across the street, Michael Jordan is building a house. But, I would also have valet service. so I'm really stumped on which to get. I have a pretty large boat and a car. I have a small apartment in Chicago, so I would probably be down south in the fall, winter, and a little in the summer. The condo would be great for being on my own, and I like it because it is high up, and for the views. But the house is in a huge community where I could socialize. Please help me.
